Collingwood's a better team.

But with all the other circumstances (Collingwood emotional high, Adelaide plenty of rest, Collingwood have some outs, Adelaide can play their best possible 23 etc.) I think Adelaide to get up in a close one.

Collingwood to win by 10+ goals in return matchup though.

Ripe for the picking they had to play thier absolute best footy to beat us yesterday coming from that far behind they could be emotionaly cooked.

If Pies do some how manage to win bloody hell I will label them as the most mentaly tough team Iv'e seen

Wouldn't mind seeing Michalanney get the job on Daicos...but our structure unlikely to permit that if Daicos starts across half back
MM will probably get Elliott, Keays is the most likely match-up for Daicos.

Wonder if Nicks has the balls to employ a full on tag

As David King says don't get beaten by what you know
IF Daicos runs off half back, we might run Keays on him similar to what we do to Saad from Carlton...but Daicos is a different proposition - however, Keays is a gut runner and can hurt teams going the other way...but whoever goes to Daicos will have to try and make him accountable to defend his man an not be able to just run rampant going forward for the pies

I'm going the crows here

They are playing good footy. Sure not as good as the pies but of a 5 day break, they have a great chance.

crows by 17 and no late come back by the pies

I love being the underdog. I also still can’t believe people underrate Collingwood’s ability to turn up and churn out the W despite what may’ve happened the week before.

Hopefully we show the doubters how it’s done yet again.

A different challenge this week is facing the old-school genuine FFs in Walker/Fog - if they get a hold of the Pies, this will be why we get beaten.

O’Brien will have about 60 hitouts too. Hope the Maggies midfield can halve the clearances to help us churn out that W.

Will be an interesting game which I’m looking forward to.

Will Collingwood's short break, coupled with Adelaide's home ground advantage, be enough to help Adelaide overcome the talent chasm between the two teams? 🤔

I looked at the injury list for Adelaide and there is one solitary player on it, some bloke I've never heard of...
Injury list a bit misleading

Josh Worrell has been injured all year, Was suppose to make his return via SANFL last week but was a late out (soreness)
Sam Berry made his return via SANFL last week, Looked to have managed minutes, Not 100%
Shane McAdam got injured and is now on the updated injury list

Ideally all 3 in our best 22, Not complaining though, Healthy injury list compared to most teams

5 day break stuff is bogus. Adelaide came off a 5 day break and beat Carlton by 56 pts and then had a 10 day break and played shite against Hawthorn. It's only ONE factor.

Collingwood have some outs but they are the same outs they had when defeating the bombers.

The only thing working against them is they are away and unlike many of their away games they aren't at home and have to travel a whole hour in a metal bird.

I think they will win because they are the better side.

Okay they lack talls but those talls are solid, not superstars. This is the bulk of their team. Adelaide winning would be a huge result, not a charity based off of breaks and injuries to middling talls.

Collingwood will play in a GF this year.

Will be interesting to see the ROB v Billy ruck battle as both will have a point to prove.

ROB likely to dominate the taps, but will it lead to midfield clearances... as he was poor last week after some good form.

Usually the Pies are one of the best travelling teams in the comp. But we played our worst game of the past 12 months at the Gabba recently so hoping that was an aberration.
If Adelaide can't beat us off a 4 day break and with half a dozen of our best 22 out, they are only pretenders.

5 day break. ;)

Teams regularly win off 5 day breaks.
