I don't know of any other professional sport where the umpires or referees try to influence the game as much as the AFL.

It's disgraceful but not surprising when you have a muppet like Andrew Dillon saying the umpiring is the best it's ever been.

Yep, noticed Sydney players will follow their opponent then stop about 2-3m away from player with the ball whilst their opponent runs off, yet won’t be penalised for staying in the protected area.

Brisbane got a goal from it in last years grand final doing the same thing, sat 1m behind player with ball and umpire called play on when he didn’t move.
