So satisfying after seeing Chad Warner showboating in the second quarter.

Arrogant team. Arrogant fans.

Swans aren't pretenders, it's losses like this at this time of the season that can provide the bitterness of losing to compel a team to go extra hard.

In 2017 Richmond lost to Adelaide Crows FC by 76 and St Kilda Saints FC by 67. Won the flag
In 2019 Richmond lost 6 games by an average of 46 points. Including 71 by geelong. Won the flag
In 2020 Richmond lost consecutive games to Hawthorn Hawks and the Saints of St Kilda. Won the flag.

Pies lost 3 of their last 5 in 2023 too

Not a big deal to drop some games, especially close ones

Can’t stay up all year

We can finish twelve games clear on top and a the team that finishes below us will get the home ground advantage. So yeah, you're probably right.

Congrats on your Grand Final today. 👍🏻
The mcg isn’t geelong’s home ground so what’s your excuse there? Your players are already carrying on like they’ve won it! Haven’t done sweet FA! A few reality checks are in order I reckon. If you were as good as your players think you are you wouldn’t have lost today. Maybe it’s time to move city’s again?

Spot on. There's a reason no team has gone undefeated in a season.

Also in 2020, Richmond LOST their first final, and still won the flag completing 3 premierships in 4 years.

Sure, if we win we peaked to early, if we lose we are pretenders

Uh I don't think you noticed bro but they do play their home games there occasionally.

This is no doubt the saints main highlight for the year. So yeah, well done. You got your nothing win so you can say the year has been a success.

What a win for the Mighty Saints.

An even bigger upset than Freo beating the Swans last week.

Absolutely, Freo are good, losing to that spud Stkilda team is embarrassing

Good news for Carlton.

Who cares about Sydney.

Handed everything on a platter for the better part of 3 decades and still bitter

The Dougal Howard touch ended up being pretty crucial
