They get the Cats in front to an almost match winning lead and then decide ‘ok we will reverse a 7-3 free kick count and go on a 9-2 run in the second term and while the other team charges to within 4 points we won’t do anything to stop it. We will actively let them get back into the contest rather then find the odd free during that period to keep them at arm’s length.’

No that sounds like a well thought out theory and one that holds a lot of substance
