Butters was talking to Cameron after the game. He asked if he can come to Geelong...
Spending your money on Bailey though, right?

Frees up some cap space at Whitten Oval for dogs supporter Butters. 😀

Unless there are more “completely above board land and home packages and Cotton On sponsorships” to cover him as well….

Not going to lie, I'm clearly carrying some week 1/QF trauma from the 2012-21 period.

Could get used to the feeling of actually winning first up in September, especially wins like this, given the only two we've had since 2011 were heartstoppers against the Hawks (2016) and Pies (2022).

Haven't checked the numbers yet, but my tip for the "stats don't tell the story" player tonight would be Brad Close. Should have kicked a couple once it was done and dusted but thought he was outstanding when the game was there to be won in the first half.
Close was virtually errorless.

It was a joke.. If it was real you think we would take Smith over Butters??

I really thought the loss of Stewart would affect the result, i tipped the Cats pre game, but losing him was a huge loss. For them to annihilate Port over there like that is incredible. It's good to be wrong.
You guys could have just played the 4 bench players and no one else and you still would have won

You just snuck in against Hawthorn in the QF, you’ve just won on the road by 84 points.

Will be staggered if you lose the PF. Genuinely can’t see it. Could be a Geelong v WB GF or Geelong v Swans / Giants GF.
Look after tonight we need to be making a grand final.
Kicking myself because I booked flights overseas grand final weekend after Carlton pumped us earlier in the year.
