Less than a week to go now - who else is getting pumped at seeing the ground complete in the flesh!
Pumped is an understatement. I think I speak for most people here, I've been extremely excited for this event since we knew it was happening (2011?). Six more sleeps!

Nearly time to choose a pub for pre game lunch and frothies! Hmmm east end maybe? 28 degrees forecast perfect. Just need to win now.

Worlds end.

Then stroll through city west and up to the casino, over the foot bridge and then your at the ground.

That, or the Strathmore.

It's gotta be Nth Adelaide somewhere? The Oxford?

On a different note, have two PAP season Tix for this week...not interested in sitting with the unwashed, can I get on the hill or will the ticket police be out in force and insist I sit with the filth?

Given it's a sellout I would suspect the latter, but it would be interesting to see if/how they enforce that on the hill.

It's reserved seating for the game - they sent out an email suggesting they will monitor the hill as best as possible.

I am thinking Stag or Austral. Tough choices. I reckon Strathmore & Cathedral will be packed solid.

That's why I thought of the worlds end. Not many people know about it and they do awesome meals.

It's not that far either.

You are correct, Strath and cathedral will be packed.

Might do Jack Ruby on king William for a slaw burger. :thumbsu:

Elephant or PJ's for some serious imperial pints and a burger?

It would make walking around the stadium difficult. The only way to police it is to stop people from entering sections other than what their ticket allows. Given the hill should be packed, asking everyone standing on it for their ticket will be disruptive.

I had a seat at AAMI for years but never sat in it. Showdowns included.

It's going to be like every stadium across the world. You have to show your ticket to get into that section of seats.

If you don't have a GA tickets, you won't get into the hill area.

That's cool. Just means people wanting to go early and check out the whole stadium won't be able to. We'll all be confined to our sections.

No, now that's just being silly.

You just won't be able to enter the bay. You can wonder around the concourse area and see the stadium but you will need to show your ticket to get into each bay.

What about the facilities, theres no members and non members areas like aami is there?

Don't know.

I get the impression, it will be like AAMI with a fenced area and you will need a ticket to get in and out of the gate.

But I don't know as a game has not yet been played.
