A good win, bomber's already said he was pleased and the last quarter we just manged players for the hawks match.

I would have liked to see a 'ruthless' final term. North will go away happy with 'beating the Cats' for a quarter, and its poor momentum to take into the Hawthorn match.

On the other hand, Bomber didn't seem phased (fazed?) and he's the one who knows what he's doing!

Keep your eye out for one of the lesser known North kids, Levi Greenwood (24). He is as hard as granite and my waters suggest that he is not too far away from doing something that will make the footy world stand up and take notice.

Bit of a plodder and struggles to kick much over a jam tin. I'll pass.

Taking care of business today.

I think North are going to be a good side over the next few years which considering how bad they were at the start of the season, is a real achievement for Brad Scott.

Nice to see Joel Corey back, needs a few games under his belt obviously well under his best. Good to see Taylor Hunt having a crack even if he did get run down a few times or coughed it up. He will get better. Last quarter was disappointing as it is dangerous to flirt with your form sometimes.

If we play like we did for the first quarter and a half today next week, when we repeatedly broke through North's zone and created several easy scoring opportunities, we'll probably win by 2-3 goals.

However, if we take our last quarter form into next week, we'll be smashed by 10+ goals.

some tinfoil crank called SEN claiming that Geelong threw the last quarter to get the margin under 40 points, and wreck the line bet. oooooooooh

Yeah, funniest thing I'd heard all week. Man, was he furious demanding an AFL investigation of the Geelong Football Club for getting the margin back under 40 points. Was adamant that players and officials were all involved. The poor bugger....

So, 'fess up - which one of us had $10,000 on the Cats at 40+ :p

Sorry if this has already been brought up somewhere else and I've missed it, I didn't see the ginger ninja (Ling) on the ground today. Anyone know why this was? Rested? Illness? Injured at training? I double checked the supercoach scores for the game and confirmed that Hogan played instead.

Back soreness. Should be in next week.

Good win, too skilled and especially too strong.:thumbsu:

In three years time we will make you pay.;)

Only if Pods has retired by then :D, otherwise no.

I do think you guys are heading in the right direction though, and some of your young talent is very good.
