Essendons good is very good and if they bring that I am very concerned about this game. Who will kick our goals is anyones guess but I think we will get enough of the ball forward to hit the scoreboard.
Eagles by 9 without much confidence.
Le Cras will probably bob up with a bag again as we leave him unmanned to guard a bit of grass that he will just avoid for all the other bits of grass.

Relax. You've got this.

It's also going to be wet so watch us try to overuse the short handball, fumbling often and getting pressured into incorrect disposal which will all of a sudden be called a lot more than 'spilled out of the tackle play on'. ;)

pretty good chance the rain will miss. Threatened about an hour ago and now it looks ok and is very still.

I'm worried about McKernan giving away his quota of stupid free kicks that lead to a West Coast goal.

Interesting to watch McInnes play. Seems to have been deep in the WAFL for a long time. Iguess he must be intended as a tall forward with Nic Nat and/ or Lycett helping out at times. Nic Nat must be building up the match fitness to increase his TOG by now.

Ryan and Rioli could potentially break out and kick a bag.

Always love watching MCGovern play. His brilliant reading of the play, and turning up in the right places. :) Also the cunning way he finds time for bit of a break after raising an effort. I'll swear I saw him fall over deliberately after a great spoil against the Swans, just to catch a few breaths on the ground.

Bombers have them tide running hard against them. Eagles by 40.

If our coaching box is any smart they will tell the team to not bomb the ball forward so McGovern cant intercept.

We played them three times last year and once so far this year. :'(That's been my biggest hope before each game. He's awesome to watch as a neutral though, better live where you can see his positional play.

All the talk about Darling and Kennedy, but we don't have Daniher, Zaharakis, Parish or Ambrose. It's not like we're full strength either.

I think Eagles will get the job done in Perth.

Ah the good ol' "we didn't adapt to the conditions as well as [insert opposition]"
