Great game. I just struggle to get past the standard of AFL umpiring this season. It’s as if they have a compulsive disorder to blow their whistle and just pay something no matter what. Games are just so over umpired. A free kick is a free kick but I just wish they would pay the obvious ones and do their best to let the game go. Tonight’s game was great regardless but I am finding the game almost unwatchable a lot of time. I had no skin in the game but thought the umpiring tonight was extremely poor. And it is far to often as of late.

It’s a bit like criminal defence. Better to let 100 frees go than pay a free incorrectly, I think.

Got about 5 actually. But injuries arent helping them on that front. Jury is out on several. Evw is definitely one to watch though. Has been fantastic before another injury

Nielson, Durdin, McKay. All have a good shot there, and potentially forward for at least one of them too.

Seems to happen to maj a bit too often of late. Glad he hasnt been taking it personally and keeps giving his all. He isnt the most gifted player ive ever seen. But he has really tried very hard to be a defender and has done a great job in my eyes learning on the run

Big players need to take into consideration their actions when applying a legal tackle/bump against a smaller player apparently.

McKay, Durdin, Nielsen, Watson, we’ve got a few. McKay is more of a Tarrant mould fb and Durdin a swingman.
