He has played a good game though he faded a little late in the second quarters. He is one of the reasons we are winning.

He 'faded' in the second quarter, cause after the first quarter where basically played on no one and the opposition paid no attention to him, they opposition put someone on him and didn't let him run around free anymore. Once you pay him any attention he's useless.

If Ben Crocker didn't exist, Callum Brown would be the worst player to get regular games for Collingwood in the last decade. It baffles me that some people can't see this.

Look, I admit he's not as fumbly as he usually is, but the reason he got so much of the ball in the first quarter was purely because of the opposition paying no attention to him. He's not doing any of the hard stuff, which is his role as an inside midfielder. That's like praising a key forward for dominating against a non-key position player. He shouldn't even be on the list, let alone be getting a game.

To the eye, none of what you’re saying is that true. He looks like all of our other mids do in a fairly frenetic messy game.

stats say 5 pressure acts for Wills, 6 to Pendles and treloar, hos, atu, checkers and tay have more than him as well.
wills has 1 tackle which seems low until you realize of all our mids only Tay has more than one tackle.
So the stats say he isn’t squibbing the hard stuff.
