Archer is one of only two people to ever defeat Moxley in singles action in AEW. Dude is super protected & used wisely as a hoss beast who is a legitimate threat. The way he should be-- he doesn't need to be there every week or even every month.
The dude has lost almost every big match he’s been in.

That’s it’s job at this stage, to put other talent over.

But due to his size; skill set, win record (he’s beaten plenty of jobbers in the past 2 years) and the fact he’s defeated Moxley on television Archer is instantly seen as credible when he is booked.

That’s what you want from a guy like Archer

Miro involved in a Celebrity basketball game. A former WWE 24/7 champ is on the other team.

Bloody hell, Gronkowski is every where. UFC prelims on Kayo were him watching the show as opposed to the prelims themselves.

The Bucks tweeted that BTE wouldn’t be up til Tuesday midday.

The ensuing responses were hilarious

I’m still taking everything with a grain of salt, but there’s a report saying that, according to one witness, Ace Steel is lucky to not be in jail. Hard to see him back if it’s true, which probably puts pressure on Punk to make a decision.

Tbh, I’ve seen Bryan sub in for Punk before. If this is all shoot, I’d be more than happy to see Bryan take his spot again.

Punk should have been fired already. But Tony won't fire the guy he's been fanboi-ing over for 2 decades.
Seriously who knows with this company but it sounds like police were involved according to Meltzer and Steele will get fired and Punk will most likely walk if he gets fired. Then again who knows with Meltzer.

The funny thing is aside from the initial debut and his hometown crowd reactions has Punk really added to the brand? The only guy he has remotely helped build has been MJF and I feel like MJF was doing a fine job pre Punk anyway.

For all the trouble he has caused is it worth it? Ratings haven’t exploded they float around the same ? Has he sold out arenas or has it been because of a great card? Omega Danielson MJF Wardlow could be the world champ and they won’t be worse off ratings or ticket sales wise.

Take the band aid off and fire him before it’s to late.

Cops weren’t called apparently.

Of course he has

Do you really reckon he has added something in a big way to AEW? I don't, he didn't really put over any talent he went on an undefeated streak against a lot of good up and coming talent but he hasn't done anything amazing that has changed the business in say the way Hogan/Outsiders did for WCW which was a game changer.

AEW were doing fine without him they picked up some great talent and were good at showcasing it and they lost Cody which may or may not be related to Punk/Direction company going in? Couldn't have been a money issue as Tony himself said he has plenty of that.

As good as the guy has been in the ring there is a common theme wherever he goes?

Pretty sure there would be a lot of the hardcore AEW fanbase that would tune out if example The Elite were to leave rather than Punk leaving I mean the Elite & Cody are the reason why this company is kicking now. Time to get rid of the trash before it gets worse.

Most disappointing thing is MJF had his moment and its been overshadowed by this instead of the focus being on him its well and truly on Punk. No one even asked him the question at the scrum did they about Colt/Elite. He just brought it up and went off tap himself?

Dynamites ratings went back up over a million as soon as Punk returned a few weeks ago.

He gets the biggest reactions. His matches have the most crowd involvement and he feels like THE star of the show whenever he is on screen.

If he goes and Kenny/The Bucks stay a central part of the show it's going to affect their business. I don't believe there is any disputing that.

BUT, that's it's own argument. SHOULD Punk be reprimanded so heavily considering he started this particular incident with his comments? Or will they focus on the overall numbers and take into consideration that Hangman and by extension the Bucks may have at fault months ago when Page went off script on live television?

I have to admit, as a Punk fan for 15 years, I can't imagine remaining heavily invested in AEW if he leaves and The Elite are a central part of the promotion every week.

The trios final was a great match, but Kenny staring into the camera telling everybody backstage 'that's the standard' (or words to that effect) was pretty embarrassing. Even they must know their style isn't for everybody. I certainly enjoyed the tag team title match more which was classic pro wrestling by comparison.

This is the fascinating thing about AEW, everyone thought Cody leaving was a work and it wasn't. People were split on MJF being a work and it was (although I think there is a significant amount of truth to his frustrations that they've leaned into)

Now people are buzzing about this.

As out of control that things have gotten, I still can't see either parties leaving, just need months not weeks to cool off at the moment.

It's a messy situation though, I wonder if Punk ever verbally pulled them up prior to the scrum?

I don't want to shit on Tony, he's a fan and he's heart is in the right place, but he really needs to be a strong leader and not be everyone's friend if he's taking on the roles he has.

I get the feeling those comments were as much for the Elite as they were forcing Tony to pull people up.

No point having a media scrum with shoot Q&A if you're going to 'no comment' perfectly reasonable questions.
