Not sure how much is his fault, and how much is the Board wanting a light rebuild and top up.

Whoever is pushing it behind the scenes, McQualter is the one that will be left holding the responsibility down the line. If pick 3 ends up the next Chris Judd when they split that pick to be pick up one of his mates from his former club, they will go nuclear on him.

He's finished already. Won't survive being associated with this trade. How long it will be before he is turfed remains to be seen. I'll guess at 2 years.

He is taking on the worst list in the comp by a mile. They still have some big names , but the list is so unbalanced and they have somehow made it worse this trade period.

3 of their top 6 player have max 2-3 years left in yeo, McGovern, Kelly. It's Looking like they will only take 1 top 20 pick this year , and then filled gaps with ok players in that 26-30 year old bracket that won't be there for the next finals run. Guarantee they will sell the farm for Warner hoping he will be the saviour with reid. But as good as reid is he will also be the issue as the club will bend over backwards to try keep him happy.

Bringing in experience to try to keep Harley instead of committing to a rebuild. Might work for a couple of years but if it doesn’t they be screwed when Tassie starts sucking the top end of the draft

I’m getting Ken Judge Mk2 vibes.

Feels that McQualter will be told what to do, rather than he be given the reins.
