Angus Graham to Adelaide

Sando seems like he's got a really good footy brain so I can only assume this is a precursor to another deal and they've brought Graham in for cheap insurance. To me it looks more and more likely that there will be a third team involved in this Tippett deal as I can't see the point in Adelaide taking on White (Jacobs, Graham, Jenkins, McKernan, Johnston, Lynch). My feel is either White is sent to another club in the deal or one of the players listed (most likely McKernan) is sent away. Something is afoot..

I heard his name linked to North Melb as a McIntosh replacement, but like for the Crows it's only if the #1 goes down (Jacobs for us, Goldstein for them).

There was the popping of champagne corks when we heard about this 'rumour', he was linked to us by rumour, but given how our trade period has panned out it wouldn't have surprised us if we dropped to a new low and traded out McIntosh for Graham.

Why would Crows go for Graham while you have McKernan? Surely he would be better backup. Is there any chance Crows are trading him out?

Graham's biggest problem is his reluctance to put his body on the line, and use that huge strong body god gave him. He is an underatted forward who can take a pack mark and usually kicks the goal as well.

Unfortunately for him, he became somewhat of a whipping boy for Richmond fans even though he is

25 and about to hit his peak.
Is a huge man that is extremely strong and fit with a great attitude to training

Look as a back up ruckman on a small wage, its not that bad

I don't think Sando is involved it's mostly noble, last year we traded for tom lynch and sando didn't even use him in the regular season.

Good call. If he stayed at Richmond it he would just go through the motions at Coburg waiting for Maric to fall so he could get a temporary backup gig, at least now he can go and rejuvinate his mind and body with the Crows.

I wish him all the best, and tip he will play some good footy for them and show his many doubters they were wrong.

His kicking is elite, yes. Unfortunately there are many, many aspects of his game which are not up to AFL standard. Thus he's on the "wait until 2014 to delist" pile and nowhere near the "need to find him a spot" pile.

Would like to see him put in a massive pre season get super fit and run off a wing. This way he doesnt need to have as much of the defensive side as he does across half back, but having him running carrying and Kicking to Walker and McKernan could make them 10 goal a year better players with his delivery

We only had one true ruckman. Smack and Jenkins are KP/Ruck's - undersized to be the main man. I hardly think a cheap backup ruck is bizzare it was always going to happen. I much prefer Graham to White at least he has the size and can be first ruck if required (hopefully not).
