OMG! Heart stopping at the end there! Just finished watching it on the toob.
The whole team was immense in the end but just gotta special mention Blake Acres.

I was wrong when I potted him in previous times but he's just found a level of consistency in his aggression I didn't think he could get to, but wow, he's responded.

It's hard to think of him as a liability any more. Kudos to the man.
Good to see you responded too.
He has definitely found his groove.
Whos gonna be whipping person now?

I am overseas so just read the last few pages on the game thread. I thought we had lost considering the comments. So negative. Get a grip!
When you actually see what Luke Ryan and Lloyd Meek did you might put a foot through the TV

All credit to him, and our club. He's finally showing the ability that he's got and no squibs. It's taken many years, a few coaches, a number of positions, but he's realising his potential now.

It actually shows what a guy can do when he gets a decent run at. For a guy who builds his game around his ability to run (his uncle Barry Acres was a 800m national champion so it’s in his genes) all the injuries over the last few years haven’t allowed him to show his best. Now we are seeing it

Geelong aren't ready for the triple mosquito fleet threat in Shooter, Switta and Sonson.

Narrow wings? Play down the corridor we've got the skills and the speed.

Freo by 3pts.

Decent prediction SB! Almost as good as that time you predicted Pav would retire in 2016 back in 2010.

Solid.

Did anyone else hear TNT after Geelong goals today? I knowEd Sheeran said a few chords can just be coincidence but this jus seemed like theft. And ageee with Jake Niall on Age about ground announcer asking crowd to make noise at boundary throw in, just don’t. Fair play to Geelong fans, they didn’t.

Wow!! Oh my goodness, that was epic! A hugeeeeeeeeee win!!

In the presser afterwards, it was mentioned that that was the lowest score Geelong has been kept to at the Cattery for 50 years!!! 50 F***in' years!! Imagine that.....that's what I'm talking about, we keep knocking off these little hurdles and previous hoodoos - we quell teams defensively and have the ability to score in crucial moments, although this game was tight and lower-scoring...we are finding a way to get it done, massive mark of a team in a strong window right now; this is unbelievable what we're doing with so many crucial players going down here and there and the list demographic being so young and lesser-experienced; I gave us no chance when Tabs and Darce were not going to be playing, 2nd week in a row without Chappy and Young. Jebus Christ, we are a contender this year; we simply have to be...?!?!?! It's astonishing, 3 from 3 away wins and one at the Cattery of all places, shades of the spirit of 2013 all over again and memories of Hill tearing off that interchange for one of our most iconic and precious memories, maybe not quite as scintillating....but up there. Farkn 'ell folks! :tongueclosed:

And up them! That one's dedicated to Kingy and all the anti-Freo press brigade that gave us no chance.......ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Suck on them apples, ya mouldy gits!! Hehehe....

"....hit 'em real hard send em down below...ohhh Freo, give em the old heave-ho, we are the Freo Dockersssssss!" :freo:
 Hellfire yesssss!!!

Geelong’s ground announcer

And to editorialise for all a moment, telling a crowd to make some noise at a boundary throw in six minutes into the third quarter when the Cats have not scored a goal for more than a quarter is not right. Geelong are the second oldest club in the game’s history and their fans provide a unique atmosphere at their home ground. They do not need to be told how to act at the football nor turned into an American environment on the surf coast. People are all for innovation but not useless copy cat ideas.

These are the scores we've conceded since St.Kilda game - 47, 54, 59, 62 & 66. And even in that loss it was 65....

Incredible stuff, the defense even with its lapses are harder than an ageing German Techno DJ on viagra
