I went tonight. Dees transition football is just awesome. Gws more than matched their contested football, but could not move the ball forward with any fluency. Dont let tackle count fool you, giants almost always kicking under pressure, the dees pounce on the mistake and put you to the sword.

They can Ropey dope -- all there first half dominance was from absorbing and rebounding -- GWS knocked themselves out in there own forward half -- then Melbourne got on the other end and smashed them --
The grid they get into from 60m out is very very good to watch .. Jackson running and exchanging with the winger is scary

Got Jackson in my SuperCoach team, the kid is going to be very hard to stop

Dees are scary good. Absorb what teams throw at them, then kick it up a gear and pile on the goals. Plus they're relentless, there was a few minutes to go tonight and they're still running, chasing, presenting, etc. as if there was less than a goal in it

Deamons were amazing to watch last night, they just have all the cattle and play the game the right way.

One thing they do that we don't so well is when they get a break going forward the don't always keep trying to go forward hard and fast, they give a few handballs and eat up a few seconds so the forwards can get there. A lot of situations they did that, I know in those moments we would keep kicking forward and turn it over. They kick short really well. They defend against short kicking and corridor play really well. Scary talented. Going to have to beat them at their own game.

GWS play a very out of date style of footy. Their defensive game is poor. They try and defend from the back half and not so much from the midfield like Melbourne did.

Any team not starting their defence from the full forward line is wasting their time, you can’t leave the job to the defenders only. Thought we had already proven that consistently over many seasons.

if it bleeds, you can kill it..........
What is it, and do we really need to kill it?

Can we just lock it away?
If left alone, will it die from natural causes?
Do we need to do the killing or can we hire a professional?
If we kill it at Easter, will it stay dead or rise again?

So many questions.
