Ah yes I have been reminded how boring Paul Collingwood was as a batsmen

Yup, it always amuses me that for how well he did in the first innings, his complete and utter unwillingness to score runs at even a semi respectable rate in the 2nd innings gave Aus a sniff. As soon as they shut up shop, they lost the game.

Really? Imagine all of the muttering he would done to himself that day...
He only went for 100 in 9 test innings which is a pretty fair effort for over 100 tests (124 tests in total). He took at least 2 wickets in each of the other 8.

Kids, say no to drugs.
This reminds me of my favourite Love, Actually quote:

"Kids, here's an important message from your Uncle Billy. Don't buy drugs. Become a Pop Star and they give them to you for free."

Yes, but the attendance at the WACA would be about the same as it is now as well.
Based on what?

I actually agree that in a 4 test series WA needed to miss with the state of the WACA, but the WA public has supported Test cricket well over the last few years.

The centre square at the Gabba has shortened the careers of most ruckmen who've played there enough.
Genuinely curious. Is that what shortened the careers of Keating and Charman?

I've heard it all now;)

He meant this Cosgrove.
