They did have a grade player subbing initially. The masseur came on later.
Incidentally, that's "masseuse" if you listen to the Channel 9 commentators.

Yes, so why didn't he come on again? Was he already on the field maybe? Don't they normally have two substitutes available? No real problem with the masseur coming on (assume he can field!) but it just seemed odd. Yep, they gave the masseur a sex change, hopeless

When it's a crap test the appeal will diminish. Just because you are not working doesn't mean you will automatically attend a sporting event.
If you are working then you definitely won't

I think the whole concept of "prime time television" is just a fad.

Once the novelty wears off and people realise the shows aren't that great then daytime television ratings will BOOM

Don't know what happened with the other bloke, you're quite right, you would expect it to be better organised unless, of course, the masseur is a player.

The sex change is conclusive proof that known of those wackers know whether they are Arthur or Martha.

Maybe if it's a good test you will go during the day even if you do work (annual leave, flex day, sickie). Just pushing it into the night time will not automatically revive a dying format.

Why ask Latham about the pink ball at night? He was out before the lights came on. I'd rather hear from Watling who looked pretty good before the break and was clearly struggling in session 3. Easy to make excuses, but Warner didn't look as though he could see the ball either. I can't recall seeing him playing so many false strokes early in his innings.

Latham did say he thought the ball was much easier to see before the lights came on, and Mark Nicholas changed the subject very quickly :)

Just heard a bit of talk back on the ABC radio and reactions to the night session were mixed. Unfortunately only a one sided version of events on channel 9.

Did Siddle just become our stirke bowler?

Mother of God

Eh, 8am to 3.30pm means I can watch the whole game at work, 11.30am to 6.30pm means I miss the final session while travelling home.

Might be better for Saturday and Sunday.
On the flip side, for me it means I actually get to watch a session when I get home :)

LOl @ whomever was bagging that Neville catch yesterday

It was awesome
