One positive we can take out of the game is that aside from some dodgy disposal by Cumberland all of our kids played well. Mansell and Clarke had their best games for the club so far, and Ralphsmith probably wasn't far off his best either.

Graham , Lynch and McIntosh out.

Saints and Bombers have been great to watch it’s refreshing watching games without stressing about the result and it’s clear whilst they have had easier opposition they are are just playing fun move it on quick footy.

I think our guys are stuck in the past, Grimes and co put to much pressure on themselves but we ain’t what we used to be, what half or more of the premiership players are gone and we had what 7 players under 20 games on the weekend?

It’s pretty clear over the past 2 years that Grimes and Vlas are about done. Vlas makes so many stupid errors by foot and defensively not that great, 6-6-6 took away his strength of peeling off going up for intercept marks.

Whilst Young has been rushed by foot he’s defensively been pretty good, would be nice if Gibcus was fit to but not to be.

Kmac might work his ass off but his skill level has gone backwards and I’d rather Ross, Juddy and Dow have cracks on the wing and pump games into them.

Shame we have so many injuries we barely have anyone to pick from.

I’m a little concerned at our inability to alter our style to suit the conditions, particularly after playing in the wet the week before.

On a dry day we win that game though, and we are going to have more dry days than wet ones as the season unfolds so I’m happy see them persist with this style generally speaking.

No need to panic. Winning one of our next two games would be nice and then our fixture gets easier and we should be able to string multiple wins together.

There’s better football in this squad to come.

Yeah that is a disgraceful corruption of one of the fundamental identity markers of our great game. That clown should be tried for treason.

Taranto and Hopper add considerable depth to our team. The clearance issue is more about strategy and the personnel combination in there. The lightning quick youngsters and Bolton going in there will make a difference in time. I’m thinking ruck strategies need to be flexible too. If we are getting beaten in the guts throw Balta in there to punch it hard and clear the ruck

Can we please get rid of the dinky 10 metre kickin to the pocket which beggars belief but we are failing to complete that simple task
It doesn’t set us up for a 45 as we just bang it down the line anyway
