Worse DE% on the ground by a country mile. He’s got talent and needs time to develop, but he is borderline best 22 contrary to being an automatic lock, like many on here think he should be
should be captain

How the **** can Jack Ross be left out of this dog shite side. The kid has done nothing wrong whilst others are afforded games. I'm so sick of the rubbish selections. Our midfield is worse than before, Taranto can't kick, Hopper has no penetration on his kicking and Prestia shits his pants and fumbles constantly.
We are in some real trouble, Grimes & Vlas are turning the ball over and killing the team.

Had the moments to win the game, Dusty shot and Cumbo on the wing. So, probably shows where we are at really. I'm not normally one to criticise the umpiring, but felt that the way the match was being adjudicated went from more "let them play" approach to really quick whistles in Q4. Led to some downright bemusing whistles where I had no idea what happened. Vlas call was a joke.

We definitely need to get our midfield clearance numbers better, or at least get our mids to be more defensive again when the ball is turned over. Not to call out Prestia, but I definitely saw walking when the ball appeared 10m away and the doggies were on the counter. Felt like he would usually be in there hunting it for us.

Out: Graham, Cotch, Ryan
In: Ross, Dow?, Riewoldt

Sub: Cotch/Dow

Delusional. Only forward to consistently make things happen over and over.

Players best simply isn’t good enough, along with poor coaching and tactics is a recipe for disaster

Played 2 quarters of football in 4 rounds

Something needs to change on field or in the coaching box

I think we are playing far from our best. That’s what’s frustrating this year, but it’s only round 4 and we’ve still got time to pull things together (just needs to happen faster now)

We will not win games when we hit the front and stop, full stop, we will not win games plying 15 minutes of football full stop. The kids were great Dusty was great Bolton did Bolton things , but we must chose the right footwear for a wet and greasy day

Yep spot on . Every game this year we’ve stopped at some point . I sent a text to a bulldogs Nate at half time and said we wouldn’t kick a goal in the third qtr ! Geez I wish I was a gambler !

Not the end of the world , remember a couple of thousand years ago a fella got nailed to a cross only to make a magnificent last qtr comeback !
Just wish JR8 had of played in that wet !!

Safe Easter to all you tigers !

Our game plan is so chaotic and I dunno why it seems our forward line gets so choked up and congested.

Still absolutely killed at the coalface and Hopper and taranto aren't exactly changing out fortune.

I liked that we backed the kids and I thought Clarke and Hugo played excellent games , really impacted for us. They smashed us in clearances but we worked back into the game and ultimately 2 bloody disgraceful frees for 2G proved the difference . Can someone who watched tv explain what naughtons was for . Why were we never benficiary of a free in f50 for holds and high contact . Cumbo played a shocker , butchered the ball and missed an easy shot directly in front , he’s better than that but coaches would be disappointed in him. Crikey I’d like to see some dry weather footy , damned hard to score in these shite conditions and we play pretty hi octane risky footy with overuse of handball not ideally suited to wet weathef

Next worst were Grimes Balta and Nank….

running at 100% DE was Samson…..

Give him a break…cumbos first full game for the year….played under 10

Saints are into Ross big time, I wouldn't be surprised if he is gone at the end of the year.
Knowing how shit the club is at negotiating he will walk for a packet of chips, like Higgins, Butler etc.
The selection of todays team was dog shit, MJR would have loved the conditions, Jack would have been better than the Lynch and Ryan combo.

We need to get games into the younger guys, Jack, Cotchin, Tarrent, Grimes, MacIntosh, and Broad are all likely to be gone at seasons end. Also with a wait and see on Picket, Prestia, Lynch and Vias, the end is nigh!
