I feel we need a forward tall to fire for us to have a chance. Lewis/Nash/Ceglar type thing. Gunners as a third tall changes everything. Down back I'm hoping Scrimshaw takes that Birchall role.

What about Kosi, hardly anything mentioned? Must be a reason we passed on Mossie and took this kid

The simple reason we picked Kosi is because he’ll hopefully end up being our KPB of the future. Moz is a project type player that will take a couple of seasons to get a gig.

Kosi is a big lump of a lad. He'll take time, as do most 18y.o. draftees.

Another reason why he should be captain.
I’m torn on this one. Whilst I agree that he would make a great captain, part of me thinks that he should be left to just get the best out of himself without all the added responsibility that being captain would entail, given his history.

My gut instinct is that it’s going to be between Smith and Gunners. I also wouldn’t be surprised if Pup got up too but with all the media gigs the other 2 are doing I just don’t think it will be him.

In regards to JOM for the captaincy I agree that he just needs to worry about his game and keeping healthy.

I would be surprised if JOM is being considered even Gunston for that matter (it’s my preference) because it would be somewhat of a slap to smith whose been part of the leadership group since 2016

How's ol' Schoey going these days?

He owned the phrase 'training the house down' a couple of years back, but now he rarely gets a mention.
He's performing his role the house down.

Taking the No. 1 defender whilst bringing the ball to ground the house down?
Like a boss. *

*disclaimer I live in queensland, so actually have no idea.

Who's pushing him for that role do you think FP

I think with the performances of Ollie and Moore late last season, and the recruitment of Minchington it's pretty out there to see.

Apologies gents, but I was only there briefly. Enough time for a terrible coffee from Last Piece before shooting off to work. I've got minimal comments as below, apologies:

- running program ramping up, building the loading into the legs of all players
- Hardwick looking trim and terrific, looks determined for a big season.
- cousins looking much bigger in the shoulders. Seems to have spent a lot of time in the gym during off-season
- as i keep saying, Howe has been impressing me with his energy at training
- Glass looks more and more like a footballer, not an irishman learning the game
- Poppy looking good
- Wingard still exciting me with his skill, but just doesn't seem to do much at training.
