Someone livestream the practice match against Carlton today
A couple of things to consider when streaming:
- make sure to use a 4K camera
- have a scoreboard preferably to the bottom right of the screen
- action replays are a must
- have someone go interview Andrew Russell at half time
hahaNews from the blues is that they are going in as close to full strength as they can for this.
See the gameday thread from the intra matchSo I’m assuming we didn’t have a thread for the scratch match? Somebody... anybody?
Is that a demand ?Someone livestream the practice match against Carlton today
He actually didn't get close, he choked because it wasn't a difficult shot. Was in the pocket of the same end as varcoe when he missed that last shot. Never felt more relief in my life. That game was absolutely unreal. Perhaps the best win of the cats-hawks rivalry to date.
Sewell was just in the precise spot to make him hesitate. He actually didn't get close, he choked because it wasn't a difficult shot.

One of the acts in that last quarter that doesn't get too many mentions was Hale's bump on Bliclavs in the centre of the ground after the Geelong kick in. Brilliant, desperate stuff. Hale was a great big game player.
Agreed. For a while he seemed in and out of the top 22, but when you watch the replays of some of the most critical games during our threepeat he was an absolute top big game performer.Hale is such an underrated, key cog in our threepeat! Bar on this forum, his acquirement never rates a mention.
I think he was firmly in the 22. I don't remember him playing at box Hill much of at all. He was number 1 ruck with roughy as backup in 2011/12 then had Bailey as a partner then we got McEvoy for 2014. McEvoy was in the 2's for a bit in his first year though.Agreed. Lot of my mates who I respect the opinion of, rate Hale extremely high as a big game performer!! They are not all hawthorn supporters either.Hale is such an underrated, key cog in our threepeat! Bar on this forum, his acquirement never rates a mention.
What was underrated about old mega head (Hale) was just how hard at the ball around stoppages he was for a big fella. He retired in 2015 and we still haven't properly replaced him.
