Bailey Smith**
Correct. Flashing a semi hard on as he got into his pool was full creepy. When he’s run out of ideas for cringe Instagram posts
Wouldn't we all?I’d like to know what the other reasons are?

Got a sneaky feeling he likes the ruck, as a defender he looks a little disinterested, he was more energetic in the ruck and being able to move around ground.DeKoning would have replaced Jones in his natural position. Not the ruck where Chris Scott is determined to play him out of position.
The dogs talls aren't lumbering anyway.
Plenty of smalls in the team and seems like they're a good chance of taking Clohesy off Geelong too
pick 10-14 plus some swaps is my guess, 700 pages early.
They are in the draft pool. The other club is not obliged to match the bid eg. Josh DunkleyFather Sons and Academy blokes aren’t accessible to the rest of the Draft. You may as well just wipe them off the Draft board.
Teams will match anything for those guys, especially now the JUH Rule has been scrapped.
Pick 15 is still the 15th best available player whether it’s at 15 or 21.
You’re not drafting Ashcroft, Kako, Lombard, Welsh, Campo brothers etc.
No point adding them into the Draft pool.

It’s the 15th best player in the subset of the open pool. But it’s still only getting the 20th best player in the draft. That’s the actual value of the pick.
Us paying overs for Smith won't undo the Esava trade, dude.Geelong are a nightmare to deal with. They’re like that mate at the pub who always seems to conveniently disappear whenever it’s their turn to shout, or they’ll haggle over paying full price at a Thrift Shop while wearing a diamond encrusted Rolex.
Geelong is historically very easy to deal with. I guess Mackie just saw an easy kill with Ports amateur list management team and decided he could extract a little more currency. Thanks for Lawson HumphriesGeelong are a nightmare to deal with. De Koning is definitely a need but not for 2025. He’d be the perfect ready made Liam Jones replacement (who is probably close to his final year).Glancing at the Dogs board, a lot them don't actually seem to want Sam De Koning because he's a particular need.
Their primary motivation seems to be some sort of misguided 'payback' against Geelong - "you stole one of ours so we'll steal one of yours".

I might be underselling it a bit, but knowing Geelong, they’ll probably send Mackie into the Smith negotiations in a dishevelled state & stinking of his own feces. He’ll then rub an onion in his eyes & begin to tearfully explain that despite their on-field successes, the club is in fact on its knees & at risk of handing back its license.
He’ll then proceed to show the Dogs an edited highlights package of every turnover Bailey has committed in his AFL career & insist they’re actually doing them a favour by offering a late 4th rounder, while demanding a future 3rd back.

The Port Power bloke being unwilling to part with pick 375 until the last few minutes of trade week was the real pisser in all of the Esava shenanigans. Dare I say that pick turning into Lawson Humphries was a bit of karmic retribution.I might be underselling it a bit, but knowing Geelong, they’ll probably send Mackie into the Smith negotiations in a dishevelled state & stinking of his own feces. We don't need points FFS.I do too but depends if Doggies think it’s enough or want to drag it out.
15 and 35 is 1634 points or equivalent to Pick 8 right?
Not bad for an OOC player who hasn’t played in over a year.
