We basically never pay guys over a million (not even Stewy or Blics get that and they are AA guys)

It's a risky proposition to give a player under the comeback trail from a serious injury, that much money.
I'm imagining with heaps of cap space and a bulk of veterans/Geelong club culture around him that they believe they can get him on the right track.
Turned Stengle from a delisted Free Agent into an AA player and have kept him on the straight and narrow so there's precedence there.
Been told this week it’s out of you two clubs if he goes, which is most likely. Cats offer is higher financially.

Everything I've read on your board says more likely Hawks bound? Our offer is slightly larger, but more likely to go to Hawthorn?

Was only told it’s out of two clubs and that cats offer is higher, wasn’t told much about the hawks. Cats were brought up first in conversation.
