One question/thought...we took Cousins knowing his history - not on Blair and Dan Richardson's watch I get it and is that the difference with Bennell? We are now a completely different club to then (I wasn't that wrapped we got Cousins at the time I must say)?

Times have changed since Cousins playing at Tigerland that's for sure.
Wallace was talking about it the other day on SEN- him and March picked Cousins up from the Airport and took him straight to March's house for an interview. He used the toilet as soon as he arrived and didn't appear for well over 30 minutes. I can guess what he was up to, sure Wallace and March new but we still took him.

Melbourne can't afford to lose him unfortunately and he doesn't qualify as a free agent so we'll have to trade for him anyways. We could offer Conca and our first but I don't think that lands him.

You mean the 190cm Kelvin vs the 189cm Andrew? Yeah, huge difference in size there.
Don't recall Kel being drafted as a KPP either, but just happened to be good as a defender
I'm not saying throw a 1st or 2nd round pick at him, but the kid was taken at Pick #9 so he must have some talent. He's got decent pace too.
