16 259.Doesn't matter what I think but I would say CA were hoping for 20k which is still only 1/3 filled. Hopefully tomorrow they get 30k as everyone takes an early knock or a long weekend.
I would change the word 'undoubtedly' to 'arguably'.He undoubtedly retires a great of Australian cricket, which will rub some people the wrong way I imagine.
His record in all formats is excellent. He's a great of Australian cricket.I would change the word 'undoubtedly' to 'arguably'.
Which fits in with our recent tete-a-tete.
I'm not arguing that he's been very good. My criticism from a performance perspective relates to the Test arena and his performances away from home. They're still pretty good, but he can't be classified as a 'great' if he can't perform overseas. His record in all formats is excellent. He's a great of Australian cricket.
Some will argue a Test average of 45 isn't 'excellent' - it certainly is with a strike rate of 70.
He is going to be a huge loss when he retires.

Also how does warner compete against our 2 biggest rivals England and India ?I'm not arguing that he's been very good. Averaging 45 alone is excellent when you're an opener. His record in all formats is excellent. He's a great of Australian cricket.

Rohit seemed to play down the order (with inconsistent results) for much of his early Test career thoughAveraging 45 alone is excellent when you're an opener.
Hayden and Slater for Aus also had very different home and away records, and Rohit's is even worse than Davey's so I wonder if there's something in being an attacking opener that makes playing away rom home even harder.
