My issue with Hazlewood is that given his two years of constant injuries, not sure he’ll ever be durable enough to rely on in a test - especially if it was a road

Hazlewood was actually really durable until (to his credit) he made himself a very good T20 bowler and started playing all three formats, including the IPL. It probably would have been better for his test career (but maybe worse for his bank account) if he hadn’t developed the variations that made him a valuable T20 asset.

Problem with Starc is he is so much better at batting than all the other bowlers, even Cummins seems to have gone backwards in this area (thought he used to show more with the bat).

Changing him out for someone else makes it a very big tail with little chance of wagging.

Neser is a very good batsman. Coming off a FC hundred too.

All the commentators talking about our so called great bowling

I thought it was crap for the most part this innings. Cummins and Starc not quite bowling pies, but nothing threatening until late on.

Boland and Green looked better.

The big worry for me in the Ashes is our opening pair. They are both so vulnerable in England to that swish outside off edging to the cordon. And there’s no one really to replace them.

Keep booing the umps, crabs.

It's a lot easier for them to do that, rather than question the wisdom ( or lack thereof ) their brains trust, that decided to insert the opposition after having won the toss.

Oh and a big thankyou to their selectors......I was very relieved when I read that they decided not to play Ashwin :):thumbsu:......he has been a thorn in our side.
