That wasn’t really my point, it was, there are a lot of costs involved in relocating a player and family that are not expecting to be relocated. There is a lot more than just taking over the players contract.

No way Shiel is fair value at 11-15. It'll be a single digit pick at a minimum I would think.

They would also get another 12 months of his services, ultimately with the idea of helping them reach their goal of a flag.

Giants probably don't want draft picks either and would be looking to offload it to top up their list IMO.

Leave the above decision to the blokes who get paid the big bucks. Will be watching with a keen eye.
