I love how you ask for an example, get it, then dismiss it.

I wish i could ignore presented evidence so blithely and continue with my narrative.

I showed a ms3 quote. I also acknowledged previous evidence. Not sure what you are on about but continue on

You can get your pen license if you move to PenIsland

Tee hee hee
Ahh, I remember my parents sitting me down and having a chat asking me if I fancied men after finding that in the history of our browser. Great banter that was

On the pen license, I was a bit of a rebel and used a pen before being receiving a pen license. So it's fair to say I was a pretty hardcore rebel in my youth

If Shiel wants out this year and a fair price could be negotiated, a pick in the 11-15 range, then I would do the deal

Could you imagine if the AFL changed the FA rules end of this year, forcing clubs to compensate another club for the loss of the FA?

Unlikely of course, but if he wants out, chase him

Agree with you , Dylan nominates Blues as prefers destination a pick range 11-15 is fair value , We should not concede a top 10 pick. Next year 1st is over paying too probably top 5 in another strong draft.

Peter Dutton agrees.

Sam Mitchell was slow and smart. Went ok.

Mitchell also learnt to hit his disposals pretty flat, and kept following up from contest to contest.

Mitchell also made sure anyone trying to tackle him copped a bony elbow or hip. Was a master at positioning his body in a contest that helped him get the ball and get out. Brilliant player considering his size and physical speed

Underrating Shiel a little here... Shoe on the other foot, we wouldn't accept that deal.

GWS can just wait until next year and get a better compensation pick.

If they finish top 4, compo will be pick 15+

Given they will probably finish 14-18 next year, a pick this year at 11-15 isn't bad, but I would want more if I was them

They would also get another 12 months of his services, ultimately with the idea of helping them reach their goal of a flag.

Worth the risk for a few spots in the teens of a draft?

Giants probably don't want draft picks either and would be looking to offload it to top up their list IMO.

Leave the above decision to the blokes who get paid the big bucks. Will be watching with a keen eye.

If true, and Shiel tells the club he's leaving, it's almost irrelevant that it's end of next year

Surely you wouldn't want a player on your list that you know is looking to move on - he's checked out

I would trade him this year
I was thinking the same. i dont believe that players would come out and say that and if they did the club would be better off trading him straight away
