Top 10 maybe. Let's not go too far.

Nevermind, OK Computer, The Bends, What's the Story Morning Glory?, Ready to Die, Automatic For the People, Achtung Baby, Miseducation of Lauren Hill, White Ladder, Grace, Pinkerton, Straight Outta Compton all better imo.

But then music is a subjective thing so each to their own.

What about Best of the Eagles (Hell freezes over).:)

- GWS are 1.5m over the cap next year

- hope was to have a flag by now and then jettison some players afterwards

- they have to get rid of at least 2 players

- Setterfield looking likely

gws CFO

Don't think Setterfield out will make a lot of difference and if they are 1.5m over the cap next year I'd be a little concerned about the CFO.

I wonder if they have any more salary dumps we could assist with

Scully and Patton are two they should try to move on imo. Never around when they need them.

Patton would be an almighty salary dump to take, would be on near 800k and 3 ACLs

You'd want Scully and him for free

Geez , some people bagging Coniglio for last night. Blokes a gun. Couldn't give a stuff about his efficiency from last night . He would slot in nicely .
Shiel - same. These are the guys who got GWS into the 2nd week of finals. They just lacked an extra forward and first quarter intensity was lacking but Pies really brought it in that first 20 minutes .

I've seen a lot of Shiel in person in recent weeks, including last night, and I don't want him if we are paying $1m per year.

He is a good quality mid, but he isn't fast, is fairly small, and his disposal is poor. He is also pretty weak defensively and doesnt really contribute as a forward. Best attribute is breaking from packs with the ball, which looks spectacular, but he is behind Cripps and we have young guys who do that well too.

What worries me is the body type. Strikes me as similar to Hannebery (and guys like Rhys Palmer and Brock Mclean) as a short stocky running mid. All those guys fell away very early in their careers, probably starting around age 27, which Shiel.is not far off. A 5 year deal would be a bad move imo

I'd rather just keep playing the long game and build around young guys. Walsh plus 3 other picks in the top 25? Maybe trading for Setterfield? Sign me up for that over some sort of plan to build around Shiel, McGovern, Fasolo etc

Not sure if it’s been mentioned but Shiel is the first player to get tagged on that GWS squad and it happened again last night. It’s been happening most his career.

A salary dump wouldn’t surprise me in a big package with Shiel and Setterfield. I noticed Heath Shaw was out too last night. Would he be a salary dump option? Noticed Scully right beside him in the coaches box also. I reckon they missed Patton last night. Himmelman is ok, but not a true KPF to allow Cameron to roam.

Heard last week somewhere that GWS may also be into a big name in from WA. I thought maybe Fyfe, but haven’t got a name. Now that would be ridonculous.

Each to their own, but isn't fast?
Consistently bursts through and out of traffic. Were you watching the right player?

I'd call that quick - burst speed, and I did say that was his best attribute.

But overall speed on the outside isn't fast. Not slow either, he just goes along.

I just don't see guys like that having long careers unless they have more tricks. He would face a lot more scrutiny at Carlton too.

Coniglio is better because he kicks goals but I don't think he is on offer

Ryan Griffen retiring is good news for that salary cap issue. I wonder if Deledio also gets a nudge

Imagine if lids got delisted and went back to the tigs after they go back to back, then they never win another flag
