Rating always seemed to be around 15-20. When it all comes out it will be around that

Seems overs
Both second round picks AND our second state league option for McGovern? If so I certainly didn't expect SOS to cave and pay overs.
Finlayson and Scully fit those blanks or they can GAGF....Anyone else thinking maybe future first still in play with gws?
Setters,______,____?
Appreciate the continued info barass really do
Can u elaborate at all on what those possible surprises could be?
I think you are on the moneysounds to me like we get their future 2nd for our future 3rd.
Setterfield deal will now be very difficult. They'll ask for our 2019 1st with possibly a 2018 2nd rounder coming back our way. I reckon our intention will be our 2019 2nd + Crows 2019 2nd.
It's overs on face value.
We had some thinking we'd get him for a simple second rounder, but that was never going to happen.
I guess Adelaide people would be somewhat happy with themselves right now. I think they did well.
So a pick in the 40s for nothing really. So we have 42 this year, our 2nd next year and 2 3rds to trade for Setterfield.
Grain of salt rumour guys. GCS interested in Levi Casboult and we are trying to pry away Will Brodie.

GWS academy still a thing?
Pick 10 for McGovern when Shiel will be traded for pick 9 and steak knives.. not a great deal at all in my opinion.. We desperately need mids and a small lock down defender.McGovern is a gun. It basically values him around pick 10 (if you rate McAdam). Quite reasonable when you consider he’s a perfect modern 3rd forward with his contested marking and pressure. He’s also versatile enough to go back if need be. He’s also 23 and entering the prime of his career. He’s also contracted.
The good teams identify players they want and get them at a reasonable price. That’s what has happened here. He will be great.
And most importantly, we are also still getting Sam Walsh.

I wonder what SOS would say reading some of the responses today:
Son, we live in a trade world that has salary caps and constraints, and that need to managed by men with guts. Who's gonna do it? You? You? I have a greater responsibility than you could possibly fathom. You weep for Shiel and you curse paying overs. You have that luxury. You have the luxury of not knowing what I know; that not getting Shiel while disappointing, probably saved us cap for another player. And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, will save Carlton. You don't want the truth because deep down in places you don't talk about it at parties, you want me in that trade room. You need me in that trade room. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the trades that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it! I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a laptop and send a post. Either way, I don't give a *damn* what you think you are entitled to!
