Hi sorry not sure if it's been covered as I haven't been on here in ages. Is C Byrne back in Oz? I saw a pic of him on Instagram with Crippa.

I think there is a difference between having someone as 6th best overall player and having someone 6th best on their list based on what that individual club needs.

Lukoscious was definitely the 2nd best choice overall but because we have McKay, Charlie and now McGovern he wouldn't have been in our top 6 based on need. SOS could very well have had Stocker 6th based on need especially in midfielders.

Makes sense for later selections but SOS has said on many occasions and nearly all other recruiters always bang on about best available.

I would love to see recruiters lists made public.

I do remember a goal Brock kicked that was worth 20 against the tugs once !!

Remember it well. Won a possession in the back pocket & then managed to drift forward unopposed to be in position to win the free kick when Steve Morris (I'm sure it was him) kicked out of bounds on the full & then of course Levi played the perfect decoy to allow McLean's kick to bounce through for the winning goal (that's my story & I'm sticking to it).

Netball Talent Identification programs always pick the taller players regardless of skill level for pathway programs in the country. You can teach players just about anything except height.

Plenty of gun kids don’t go further than bush leagues because they are short. Not fair, reality.

I've always been of the opinion that we should have the ALFFL as a complimentary competition.

(Australian Little Fellas Football League).

There may have been a chance for even I.

I can vouch for the Netball tall people thingy as I've seen it first hand. Boy do they drool when they see a tallentless tall girl walk in the room!
