Something like Adelaide first with a second coming back.

Cog will be $1.1m if we get him, like I said before it's less than we were expecting.
I'd do that for Martin.

Looking at GCS' current hand before PPs, comp picks, f-s/academy bids... GCS 1st (1), BL 1st, (17), RT 3rd (51)... don't have a 2nd now but I'd happily take that BL 1st as the change...

Values Martin around 25, which looks right to me. They may want more, and I'd be happy to throw in a fringe player or two if they want some more mature depth. Lang and/or Polson can head north and see what they can make of their careers.

Crows might not want to take 17 for Crouch, but if they're shopping him around they may not get what they want. Good player, not elite, injury history - he's a mid/late first rounder for mine. GWS got the equivalent of a third rounder for Devon Smith in amongst the pick swapping, and there's some similarities there. 17 for Crouch is, in my view, a pretty reasonable deal if Adelaide want to clear some space.

I'm happy for Gold Coast to take Polson's contract.

Last night I dreamt about a bigfooty catch-up, throw in copious amounts of alcohol. It was a riot.
That would be hilarious 🤣

P.s you know you are spending too much time on BF when your wife says to you “you are spending too much time on BF” 😁

I call BS

I sleep on couch

A nine pick down ground + Martin
Still, it dissolves our biggest trading asset. Martin shouldn't be that high on our list of priorities. I'd do that trade (in this draft year) but I certainly wouldn't do it early in trade week, if it means losing out on better players.

Holy crap so Coniglio, Jack Martin, Darcy Cameron & Sam Gray apparently almost locks...that is an amazing off-season.

Disappointing about Papley, but can understand Swans stance and still would be an unbelievable off-season with the above names.
B Crouch i'm a bit meh on...good player but injury issues and you would think Crows would play hard ball...not fussed if we don't get him.

IIRC B Crouch and Jack Martin were pre-draft selections in the same year.

Both clubs gave up good picks for them. (Martin Pick 2 and BC Pick 10)

At least flogs from other clubs couldn’t include them in the number of R1 picks on our list.

I.e. they were pre R1..........

Devon Smith was cheap because of known knee issues. Essendon got one good season out of him and this year has pretty much been lost to injury.

Brad Crouch has had soft tissue injuries but has averaged 30 touches and five tackles per game this year without missing a game.

He would be pretty handy but you can be sure that Adelaide would be very wary about trading him, particularly to us.

However he is a free agent at the end of next year so the crows might trade to maximise any return.

Think its a bit too heavy in our favor

gc have been willing in the past to give up good deals to get higher draft picks and more elite talent...they want to trade up.

Look at their last few deals with west coast and Brisbane...shockers tbh but the intention was to get first round picks.

Martin dropped and ooc...dont think they can demand too much.

Crows will get more for Crouch as a free agent next year ( pick after Crows 2020 first) than the first round pick we can give them this year (Crows 2019 first):).

What a lovely way to start my BF day..........

Patton was part of the hawk's Coniglio deal.

We make things easier for GWS by taking Patton and his enormous salary cap, particularly for a player who isn't going to play much next year, of GWS's books and they have really serious salary cap issues even now after last's years cap dump, and in turn they don't match our offer.

So we get Con for free, we don't have to trade for him, and they get further salary cap relief form getting Patton's 800k off their books for next year, the hawks continue to have a productive relationship with GWS.

Everyone wins and everyone stays happy.

Except we stuff up because we don't get Coniglio and are stuck honouring our deal with Patton. 🤣
You are making me nervous with your show of good will. Either you know you have him, or you are a thoroughly decent bloke. :p
Yeah, but are the Hawforn ITKs actually ITKs or just more arrogant supporters assuming they get all the cakes and eat them too?
Boooo! In general for the greedy cake eaters. Plus blocking Fev from his 100th and making an historic day of it.
