It's a bit of a pity, we are stuck in the middle of being too advanced for draft picks and not advanced enough. We really need to start landing players like Coniglio so as not to make a lie of Cripps' recent remarks.

Coniglio would meet various media types through football. A lot start discussing business opportunities outside of football including investments, office jobs and building jobs.
A bunch work in real estate after...from all over the country.
Restaurants/bars are not uncommon investments as syndicates. Many lose money though.
It's cool to own a restaurant or bar. At least to say it and get VIP treatment. Hamish and him were probably just in the same circles through mutual footy connections.
Source: my boss is the lawyer for a lot of these guys business deals. Including Hamish at times.
