Got a feeling that assuming Cogs is onboard,some popular out of contract player may well seek a new club next season aka Levi Casboult.
This is not my preferred option btw (want Levi to stay) but we have to find a way to balance the books.

He sent me a message tonight, swearing black and blue about what he'll do and say if we get Cogs for free.

He’s right. No truth in the proposition * paid materially less than our offer. Only recently learned. Our $ saved going to Cogs. Big chance. Either way Blues much more aggressive than last trade period (Shiel (missed), Newman, Fas, Gov, Setters). Not certain of course, but likely good news ahead.

Just found the Barrett News.
On Triple M's "The Saturday Rub", Barrett stated "It's been stay at GWS or go to Carlton for the last two months now". St Kilda think they are out and Hawthorn hanging in there". After stating this Damo reiterated that its GWS or Carlton.
