No. 186cm, 85kg midfield beast who turns 26 in January. Not as damaging as Cogs, and more one-paced, but would still shine alongside Cripps.

To be fair, Newman isn’t much of a defender. Ellis would be surprisingly good on a wing, I think. Not gonna change the world, but solid, fit, experienced.

The thing is, with our young core we have a lot of speed yet to develop (Dow, Fish, SPS, Cuningham), but not a lot of big bodies to bash around (Stocker, Setterfield). Although speed is what we need right now, in the long term it's actually the bigger bodies that we need.
