Oh yeah I forgot- they also contrived to give vanilla McGrath the ******* Rising Star award - the year after they didn’t give it to Patrick Cripps because in the year Cripps should have won it they said it was harder for a key position player to win it so they gave it to Hogan.
But had no problems awarding it to the most vanilla midfield winner in McGrath.
The hypocrisy is mind numbingly galling.

Can’t wait to see who wins our next Norm Smith medal in the early 2020’s. Logic says it will be Cripps but they are often from left field.. Might be SPS from half back setting up plays.. Maybe Weiters with 15 intercept marks.. Charlie with 8 goals... Setters with 30 touches and 4 goals off a wing.. the list goes on and on.
**** the afl - they can try all they like but the Teague train will be getting to full steam ahead very soon!
Wow what a turn around. Only a couple of seasons ago he was the next port brownlow winner... how quick that has changed.

If there was some consistency to it we could all accept and move on but it’s bloody random and biased. I don’t reckon it’s anti CFC, probably they just want to make sure there’s one Sydney team in the finals next year - puppetmasters.
Doubt they’d have done it to Eddie’s pies. We definitely need stronger pro-Carlton media voices, established enough to be able to criticize the hand that feeds them.

Disagree. Kelly wanted a trade to West Coast, West Coast didn't cough up fair value, so Gellong hold him to his contract. Im not sure how this isn't a good example of a club holding firm on a players request to be traded mid contract.
What about at the end of this year? He’s not a Free Agent, if both clubs offer the same money, why should he be able to choose, rather than Geelong getting the best deal they can?
