Trigg huge fan SOS not a fan

It's settled then. SOS is the one with the reputation on the line. Trigg is a fan of Aish as an Adelaide boy, nothing more.

What chance is he to go to the bombers. Considering he done all that process with us

they just sacked a guy who was hired for his playing and talking feats, coaching only at junior level. i guess they can sound bolton out for an interview, but this early making moves on him, it just smacks of them repeating history, regardless of bolton being a better candidate.

and you can bet there are bomber supporters who would be happy just to take him off our hands as well, without having gone through any particular process.

Something about letting the bakers do their thing, what are the chances the club operates professionally for a change!

Don't think for a minute that this is unique.

We've had many sticking their snout in others' troughs for a while now......we have to tighten up but that directive has to come from......you know where.

If Bolton is swayed by a last minute approach by Essendon, then he is not the coach we want. He has been in this thing for months now and has had time to digest his plans, familiarise himself with our playing list from a distance and be confident in what he has to do to rebuild us. If he switches last minute, then he probably wasn't as committed to come as you'd expect at this stage of the process.

Reckon it would take a severed horse's head in his bed to get him to Essendon. Either that or a million bucks a year and jimmy is getting that to take home.

Why would a coach with ambition, a moral compass and a grain of common sense go near that club?

Once your deep into something it's rare that you turn your back on it...........money may do it, but how much money have Essendon got?

They've flushed enough funds down the drain already..........not that we haven't but their bills must be in the shape of a noose.

SOS has enough influence around the club to make that call. His predecessor wouldn't have had any say I suspect.

I like how SOS seems to have very definite views on the players without getting too sentimental. What matters is their value as a player and what they're worth at the trade table.

It's probably not popular with the 'heart and soul' supporter but pretty important for a list strategist I would have thought.
