Wasn't aware of anything that Hendo was carrying an injury. Should have been a formality for him to pass that medical.

You'd think so - but it was probably the final step before Geelong fully committed to bringing him over. Once he had confirmation from them he would have been more comfortable making his intentions known to the club.

I'll be super pissed if anything more than a shit 2nd rounder goes to Essendon
If he nominates Carlton as his preferred destination, whats the bet that trade week starts with Essendon taking negotiations for Carlisle straight to arbitration...

Essendon want Gibbs, Henderson and 1st round for Carlisle and their 2nd

FFS one of them just said a 2nd round for Sam Grey and was shot down saying its too much and he is only worth a 3rd round pick cause he is coming out of contract

Just saw that, they are completely delusional... Some of them saying they don't want Kreuzer either, I guess they're happy with their ruck stocks!! And why would port trafe Sammy Grey? He's just coming good...

I love essendon for this sort of entertainment.

Have had a way worse past 10 years than us can't win games but their players are worth gold.

Delusion know no bounds at *

If their players are worth so much they can keep them as it's obviously getting them finals and progressing them up the ladder.

Hird is also a good coach :drunk:

That's odd....I don't see any mention of our new coach, or any coach, in my post...

Where on earth did you get the idea I was implying Bolton can't see what I see? I'm sure he can, and he'll probably have strong ideas about what roles he has in mind for particular players. We've been hammered by injuries, so players are out of position everywhere, but Tutt is extremely limited in what he can do because he appears to be afraid of the contest. Footy is a contested game.

Every player has positive attributes, if we only look at those then we're only doing half the job. We need a balanced list that enables players to use their strengths, while other players cover their weaknesses. I don't think we should delist Tutt tomorrow, I've said a number of times on this board that he and Jones were picked up as cheap stop-gaps after the loss of Waite and Garlett, I understand why we recruited them. But with the state of our list at the moment, he is depth and nothing more, because our players need to be able to trust and rely on each other - if I'm receiving a handball from Tutt I'm expecting to get run down half a second later, and I'm certainly not giving him the ball unless I have no other choice.

Because i thought you were writing off tutt. I was merely saying that a good coach can solve these simple to identify problems. If you arent writing off tutt then i agree he may be worth persisting with under our new coach
