He was using it as an example of what people want they don't always get in relation to McCarthy.

He did disclose certain players will probably move on due to wanting more opportunities.

He also stated which players were contracted and weren't looking to move. Tomlinson being one of them. You're just doubting what he has said because you don't want to believe Tomlinson doesn't want to move and it allows people to keep linking us with him.

Love the idea of getting in Kerridge if we can do it without it costing us too much (outgoing rather than salary wise).

At 22 (23 in April) he's the same age as Dylan Buckley and Blaine Boekhorst. Slightly older than Docherty, Menzel and Graham. Fits that group perfectly and thus the age profile.

I don't see how in any way getting in a player that fits that age profile in any way, shape or form is a signal of a quick fix. You can only have so many teenagers on the list. He has close to a decade left unless his body fails him.

Carlton In: Aish, 31 out: yarran, 38

Pretty sure he said every player mentioned was contracted, your just presuming because Tomlinson has purchased a property in NSW he won't be coming back to Victoria. Time will tell, but as I said earlier I have it on good authority we will acquire Tomlinson, Plowman and Lamb.. I hope my guy is right!

The fact he went out of his way to mention Tomlinson has just purchased a house in Sydney means he's pretty certain he'll be at GWS next season. Especially given Tomlinson nor his manager has made one comment about wanting to move on.

I'm presuming a 22 year old won't spend that kind of money on a property in a city in whch he wants to them leave. Makes no sense.

That's laughable. The talk is a 3rd rounder for Kerridge. How does Menzel fit into that at all? Unless they plan on giving us a first rounder as well (and even then...).

I've liked Kerridge even though I haven't seen a lot of him. Have had a feeling we would pick him up this year.
