15 is fair. Yarran did us no favours this season..

Would suggest that, if Richmond have been in his ear all season, this could be the reason he did us no favours.

This is not about what Richmond think yarran is worth, it's about what we think he's worth. He is a contracted player and I'd rather see him sook it out at the NB's next year than see us get bent over yet again.

if you look at it objectively, 12 is way overs for him. no way would i be happy if we gave up 12 for him straight up if roles were reversed

i see the list management page is going crazy with gibbs and murphy hypothetical trades on the back of what chris pelchan said.

would we consider hypothetically (as its no chance of happening):

Gibbs to adelaide for 9 and 32?


after all the aforementioned trades, wed have:

1,9,17,20,32,38,64 plus 2016 1st (Geelong)

trade 17 and 38 to GWS for those kids, go to the draft with 1,9,20,32,64...

we would be terrible next year, but the rebuild would be kick started.

hows this:

carlton IN: 17, 64 out: Yarran, 56
Brisbane: IN: Astbury, 31, 56 OUT: 17
Richmond: IN: Yarran Out: Astbury, 31, 64

that way i could see brisbane trading bell in a straight swap for 31. Plus hendo for 2016 1st and whatever happens with casboult

we end up with:

Just reading the quotes from Tomlinson's manager I am starting to think he is heading our way (I don't want to get too excited though). It really did sound like he wants back to Melbourne. I think this will end up being a 3 way trade and if we could land Tomlinson with Yarran I would be over the moon!

My opposition to trading Casboult is one of need - we lack talls.

But talent-wise surely Mayes, if he reaches his potential, trumps both Tom and Levi.
