Nearly 2 mill tied up on those two players. Our approach is much better. Get two first rounders plus the campo twins and save valuable cap space. Next year target a free agent.

I don't think Perryman's a spud although he's certainly not the second coming of Scott Pendlebury like Pies seem to believe he is. Otherwise I completely agree with you.

Tough shit tbh. If the CEO is backing Austin's strategy (which we've been told is the case) then that's the way it is.

Houston was always a nice to have (and I would have been ok with it) but not a defining change and there are other issues to be sorted out including some tweaking of the coach's game plan.

Geelong are a different case. They never ever pay overs and they have farms getting dealt out the wazoo to have a never ending salary cap they can use to improve their list indefinitely.

Pies have millions tied up with Schultz and Perryman. You wouldn't catch Steven Wells dead agreeing to either of those deals

You can't win a flag with Pendles, Sidebottom, Crisp, WHE, Howe, Cox, Mitchell, Elliott, Mihochek all well over 30. DeGoey 29 and injury prone. I think they are in for a world of hurt

Agree, they reckon they can have one more go at it and good on them for doing so but post 2025 (not that I can see them winning it) they are toast

Saad won't command a huge contract at his age. Cerra will depend on his body and next season. TDK is the big one. The bonus is Zac Williams horrendous contract is due to end in 2026 when Walsh comes out of contract. I think our salary cap is fine

Never say never. They want Baker, it may be their only way to get him after the Barras to Hawthorn fail. As mentioned by others, Owies and Carroll can sweeten the blow a little.
