OK Let me put it another way (for the sake of those 14 points);

So we started this trade period with Picks 11, 31, 62, 65, 68 which became 12, 32, 63, 66, 69

EFA: We lose Owies for nothing, and we trade 12, 14, Carrol & Kennedy to get to Pick 3, having already traded A future first, a future second, 32, 63, 66, to get 14, Fut 2nd, 72, 73.

So effectively we will have traded 12, 14, 32, 63, 66, Carroll & Kennedy, A future first, a future second, to get 3, 72, 89

EFA: We come out of it with: Pick 3, Fut 2nd, 69, 72, 73.

On what planet is that a good deal?

If it ends up being 12, 14, Owies, Carroll, Kennedy for 3 and 26 as someone suggested, it will be:

Points wise, the pick trades are fine. We basically give away those 3 players though. Remember though, it's 3 separate deals and we have given up a little with each deal in order to advance. It's basically giving away a pick in the late 30s, a pick in the 40s and a pick in the 60s in order to get the deals done.

So given no pick 3 and Collingwood not satisfying Ports reqts, in your opinion are we now back in for Houston?
Or are we staying the course with taking 12 & 16 to the draft. ?

Personally, have always stated that I'd offer up a 1st if we traded a F1, perhaps add some steak knives, nothing more

If that failed, take 12 and 14 to the draft

Please don't. That is way too much.

Fair trade. AA player in his peak who we’ve apparently been courting for months.

If shoe was on the other foot we’d be looking for the same.

Instead we’ll be gun shy and add a couple of kids.

That's definitely more hits than misses:

Walter - too early to tell but looking nice

Sheezel - Superstar

Callaghan - Very good player with scope to be a star

Phillips - Miss so far but had injuries from memory

Jackson - Hit, a star when played as a solo ruck

Rankine - Superstar, wait until he gets an injury free/suspension free run at it next year

Dow - Miss

Clug - Hit, star

Callum Mills - Hit, very good player, just has been injured + playing a role lately

Brayshaw - Hit, very good player who should still be playing if not for concussion.
