I think the media stint has done him a world of good in terms of how he is now perceived and comes across.Would love Buckley to be a senior assistant with us. Won’t happen but Voss needs considerable help.

I don’t usually get much info when I bump into these types at events as I don’t like to annoy them too much but happy to share the little snippets I do get

His insight is usually good (except his views on player contracts) but he is shocking at articulating it.The greatest world salad waffler in AFL history. Jargon filled nonsense. Cannot give a straight answer.
Do you know if he was alluding to Saad's, speed, stamina or the fact that he's suffered a permanent injury that prevents that (ie. ankle)?Had a chat to most:
Voss-
...
I also asked if Saad could move to a new role or could play elsewhere…. He said “ no he can’t run”, I specifically asked if he could go to half forward or wing and he said no he doesn’t have the running capacity to do either of those roles.

He didn’t elaborate and I never pushed…Do you know if he was alluding to Saad's, speed, stamina or the fact that he's suffered a permanent injury that prevents that (ie. ankle)?
Even Saad himself said a couple of years ago he doesn’t have a tank to play wingHe didn’t elaborate and I never pushed…
Said he can’t run and I interpreted it as he doesn’t have the tank to get up towards the total km’s that is required to play a wing or half forward role but the more I think about it he may well be meaning the recent injuries have really pulled him up.
That's the first thing I thought. Saady of 2022 had a lot more run in him.He didn’t elaborate and I never pushed…

You can see why he failed as a coach. He goes round in circles and bets each way.The greatest world salad waffler in AFL history. Jargon filled nonsense. Cannot give a straight answer.
Shoe-in for Mark Robinson replacemnet - just needs master the "drunken slur talk"He could answer a question in 5 words. Instead he rambles for 5 minutes until you forgot the question. Bores me senseless.
Not as bad as Dermie though.
