To the players - soft
To Bolton- coach.

You have to react in the moment before the dam breaks when you coach. Silvagni and e curnow should have been on the ball 15 mins into 1st qtr. Stop teaching and theorising on match days and go into battle mode and a small tip (Play Kennedy)

Exactly what I said at qtr time. Jack has a big body and a willingness to use it. Should have been straight in. And been saying. All year I get we want midfield minutes into the kids but I reckon it’s cost us refusing to put proven ball winners in Ed and murph in there. Letting them languish on a flank achieves nothing. Are we way off the mark or is bolts. Also do we need to play 4 kpd? Surely not

The worst thing is we really have nothing to look forward to at this point.

Effectively 2 games clear in last spot and we have traded the number 1 pick away.

Our young ‘guns’ are looking shakier by the week. Charlie Curnow? 14 touches, 2 marks? Awful. SPS? 14 touches @ 28% disposal effectiveness and 2 tackles? Yikes. Dow? 11 disposals and 2 tackles playing as a full time midfielder? Wowsers. O’Brien? Macreadie? Setterfield? Just not even close to being AFL players at this point. Silvagni is a depth player... Fisher - hasn’t come on from last year. Stocker and McKay ok in patches but still... Walsh starting to fall away too...

Bolton? I think his time is up. He’s a dead man walking now.Finish last and he’s done - and I can’t see how we get out of that hole. I’d suggest he gets until the bye. All 4 games are winnable - St Kilda, Essendon, Bulldogs, Brisbane@Marvel - I’d suggest if we win 2 of those he might survive a bit longer, but how likely is that?
so what does the next coach do with a bunch of skinny young players...better to work collectively towards better outcomes..it is not a one man issue

Jesus Christ our saviour? People speak of him as a messiah yet can't get a game on this team. That Says more than anything. He's no good

It would be nice if they even gave him a chance. Hasn’t even been given a run in the reserves to prove himself in a month.

What possible benefit is there in taking a 21 year old midfielder who needs game time as a travelling emergency. That’s criminal mismanagement of a young blokes career.

I dont know enough to know why this day happened after last weeks effort. But I do know enough to say the usual suspects saying the usual things calling for scalps don't know either.
Heres the thing. In footy always some days the other side is just far too good and especially when a team is so slight of frame across the park and inexperienced.

OUT:Levi,Setterfield,Mcreadie,Lob,Gibbons,Dow,Murphy (inj)

IN:Kerr,Kennedy,Simpson,Jones,Cunningham,Fasolo,Lang.

You obviously didn’t see our seconds seriously struggle against the worst team in comp yesterday. Lang maybe the only one who is AFL ready. Don’t read anything into Kerr’s output, he’s nowhere near AFL standard.

When your midfield can't tackle they will get punished by teams like GWS on a day where everything they tried- worked.

tackling well is actually an offensive weapon - maybe Bolton can focus on blokes who can stick a tackle - before worrying too much about blokes who need to improve their 'running patterns'. A few of the first round picks picks running around in Blue today have shown a great ability to run around in circles away from their opponent and where the contest was going to be.

Kids played scared today and it showed.

Kreuzer/Weitering/Cripps/Jack/Harry/Newman get a tick - the rest embarrassed themselves - not for being beaten - but for being soft and stupid.

Far out. We are a Looooong way from being anything approaching a top 4 side on this showing.. Its laughable. North was a bit of an aberration of effort. This was a tour de force from a team at the top of the league to the worst, youngest, smallest, least powerful outfit possibly to ever turn out in the AFL. We were at one stage 87 to 13, and we kicked the first goal. So from that time on, we were outscored 87 to 7. I was so buoyed by last weeks effort, to have this tripe served up is devastating.

Very few can hold their head up today. Jsos, Weiters, H, Fish, Kruz.

Crippa beaten by yet another scragger. We just don't have anyone with the presence of a Mumford who would run through the tagger a couple of times and help remind them to keep an eye out. Neither Cas nor Kruz is that type of mongrel.

Speaking of which, Mummy should get at least 2 for his hit on Murphy, and that means it's time for me to trot out my theory that people who cause injury should be suspended for whatever the penalty is PLUS whatever time the injured player misses. So if Murph misses 3, and Mummy gets a 2 week suspension, he misses 5 games.

The 2nds cupboard is pretty bare as well.

if they do replace Bolton...need to homework carefully

Bolton was chose from successful Hawks period,we have no real read on Boltons accountability.Dew also was during Swans hey days...and also would have been expensive...

Judd....can he coach>?...............who is available maybe in a year or two?

don't speak on my behalf - in fact might be an idea if you just speak for yourself - sound alright?
