Re: Fev trade

LMAO @ shpeshal......Trade week hasnt even started and his ripped his membership up. Your obviously a little precious or have had a night on the piss like Fev and desperately regret it, feeling sorry for yourself maybe.

The temper tantrum you just throw is likend to the rubbish you see on the blues board!

How about we just see what unfolds this week and then if your not happy, grab your witches hat and pitch forks and go lynching.

I agree that we may be stagnating slightly but we have a real opportunity to break some lines this trade period and i'll stand by the guys who are paid to make the big decisions, not a puppy dog poster.

Let's wait and see what transpires this week as we have been pretty active in filling holes so far leading up today.

If pricks like the Carlton FC won't come to the party and try to screw us around then they can get ****ed.

Actually, my decision not to renew my membership was made after we lost the Prelim.

Hearing about us getting Fev had inspired me to possibly renew my membership, IF we got him.

Now that we're not gettign him, I won't bother. Can't be bothered getting excited/frustrated/upset/angry for 6 months of the year for nothing.

Re: Fev trade

Please elaborate. I don't expect you to name names, just circumstances that substantiate your post.
I'm in the US and I don't know anything from anybody. It's simply an opinion based on listening to Eddie McGuire today on Triple M. Trade was discussed today, and some things that Luke Darcy said, and some things that Eddie didn't say has led me to feel that Fev is the number one target as far as he is concerned. I'm sure that there are others at the club that feel the same way, simply because of what he can provide on the field. I'm sure there are some that don't feel that way due to his behaviour though.

You say that like it's a secret.

Everyone KNOWS Fevola is who Eddie wants. But Eddie doesn't have the balls to step in and MAKE it happen, unlike say, the late Dick Pratt.

Carlton wanted Judd, they got him no matter what it took.

We all know Eddie wants Fev, and I'm glad he actually wants to go for the right player in trade week for once, I just wish he'd actually use his position for once to step in where he normally wouldn't and go over all their heads and bag Fev for us.

That's if he really DOES care about winning a premiership of course.

Hopefully you'll change teams whether Collingwood gets him or not. :thumbsu: It's quite disturbing to me that people such as yourself could get joy from "f**king Collingwood" (who are nothing and destined for eternal mediocrity) having success in the future.
Now that we're not gettign him, I won't bother. Can't be bothered getting excited/frustrated/upset/angry for 6 months of the year for nothing.
Well if you just switch teams to Carlton, then you'll only get upset, frustrated and angry instead of the highs and lows you've been going through. It will be much healthier for you! Have you ever thought about not putting so much expectations on other people?

Chris Judd didn't have the same baggage of course, therefore he had full support of the board, so it's ridiculous to compare because Judd and Fevola are not alike at all.
Carlton wanted Judd, they got him no matter what it took.
It cost Carlton too much in my opinion. If Fev goes, then recruiting Judd has cost even more because he has had a big say in it.

Of course he cares, but you want to trade Travis Cloke which is ridiculous and it would never happen of course. You're on my ignore list because I really don't like reading your posts. You're far too much of a negative whinger, so I won't be reading them again.

We have an ignore list here?

Awesome.

Re: Fev trade

I must say that i am frustrated by the bluebaggers actions in dealing with the Pies differently then any other club, and wtf due to supporter back lash.

I must say that over the last year i was gaining a healthy respect for the Carlton team but now, they can just get F@#Ked!

Obviously want to take theeir bat and ball and go home. Can Fev enter the PSD? Gee that would make me laugh to see the Blues get nothing for him....Pretty sure he is still contracted though.

Fev could be a bargain for some teams, just not us.

Jolly trade looks difficult also with Hawks showing interest. Can see us getting trumped on that trade also.

Once again, sad times ahead for us....only good thing is Staker isn't coming here!

Re: Fev trade

Remain calm people.

If we get nobody so be it.

We don't lose anything.

We have all week to work things through.

Fev is still very much in the picture, despite what Carlton "sources" suggest, as the week draws longer.

Re: Fev trade

It's time to use Fevola as a bargaining tool, and to use that tool with Sydney and Jolly in mind.

Time to make Jolly our number 1 target over Fevola, mainly due to Carlscum's unwillingness to deal with us in a fair manner.

We simply can not afford to over pay for Fevola, especially when we can use him as a chip to get Jolly.

Re: Fev trade

If we don't land Fev, Jolly or even Ball I'm going to be pissed off. It would be nice for once to land a big fish... :(

Pathetic.........

Re: Fev trade

Pathetic.........

Tell me about it... Since i live interstate, a membership is something i dream of when i finally return to Melbourne one of these years - if that's all it means to you, go follow the scum

We are a young team, who will improve alot over the next few years - No need to worry if we dont land a big fish (although it would be nice :p)

Basically bye fellas

Re: Fev trade

id really honistly laugh at the carlton scum so hard if we get fev because watching there hero kick goals for us would be beautiful

Re: Fev trade

with luke ball coming out and requesting the trade to collingwood it begs the question,
can we get both jolly and ball?
and if not who will help more?
personally if we cannot get both id like to see ball come accross but geeeeze it would make for some exciting times if we could land both and not cough fraser up.....
can anyone remember the last time we actually boasted a midfield WITH ruck stocks and depth like the one in the barrel now?????

Re: Fev trade

Not me. I'm going to devour mine and then let it decompose with me.

Well I don't know what yours looks like but mine is a fairly robust plastic item which, if secreted in the right cavity should still be in a serviceable condition at the time of the second coming.
Although as I plan to be cremated I have devised a cunning asbestos device.

Re: Fev trade

I like to look at this Fev situation another way.

If Carlton want to play hard ball with Collingwood, then it appears that Sydney is the only suitor for Fev. If that's the case and if Fev has irreversibly damaged his tenure at Visy Park, then Sydney have them over a barrel and can offer whatever they want (don't even know if he will move interstate)

With Ball now coming into the equation for Collingwood, it might just make Carlton rethink their strategy and rush down to Collingwood's table tomorrow and see if they can nut something out.

Re: Fev trade

Seems like the club has not completely given up on Fev, even though we seem to be chasing both Jolly and Ball now. Big aspirations, I like it.

Meanwhile, Carlton confirmed to the Magpies yesterday that it did not wish to trade Brendan Fevola to its arch rival - a stance that Collingwood officials felt was unreasonable if Fevola himself wanted to join the Pies, who are already vying for Jolly and Ball. Sources have suggested that, whatever Collingwood's level of interest - and it is playing its cards close to its chest on Fevola - that it is probably Fevola's preferred option.

There's only one thing worse than living collingwood supporters...

and that is Zombie Collingwood supporters. Note, it could be hard to tell the difference from channel 10's boundary cameras.:D:eek::p

I reckon the boys at the club will consider it money well lost.

Really I find it hard to beleive half of them are members anyway.
At what point in the last 19 years did they feel we were going in the right direction enough to sign up?
