Calm down fiery!
I'm not convinced yet Opti.
I need evidence. Confirmation from either Fevola or his manager.
Until then, it is all speculation.
What in that article that says all the hold up is a bradshaw medical and a richa agreement dont you get

We dont have anything to give for fev (even if we did carlton wont take any less then a major ransom from us). Fevola will be a lion or a swan next week

HE WILL NOT BE A MAGPIE!!

I still have hope we may land Fev.

I mean, if the Blues are happy with Bradshaw and Rischitelli, then SURELY thy'd be hapy with 2 of the trio of Brown/Dawes/Macaffer. We can even throw in Cook as a top up.

edit: Or even Fraser and Macaffer.

I hope your hoping is right!!!!!!:p:thumbsu:

Carton officials trying to convice Brisbane players to come to Blues.

Just picked them up from the airport.

Even Sticks unsure what the outcome will be. SEN - Seconds ago.

Still no word from the Fevola camp.

This trade week is shaping up fantastically.

Pies gain Jolly, a player that we've needed for years and set to snag Ball another type that will improve our mix immensely and cheaply.

While Carlton recruit a B grade midfielder at most with their first round selection, and look set to trade their best and most important player for another B grade midfielder and a broken down 31 year old forward, while destroying any trading and recruiting future with Collingwood who is stocked with young talented player. LOL Carlton F'D in the A.

Funniest thing is they still aren't able to recruit a talented young forward.

He probably wont be a Magpie Opti.
But unless an official word from the Fevola camp confirms he's going interstate, I will continue to hope it might eventuate.

These words.
  1. discussions on a possible trade
  2. While no deal has been completed
  3. with the hope a deal and paper work is completed
Sounds way too loose at the moment.

This just appeared in the HUN Classifieds;

For Urgent Sale.

Small Souvlaki Restaurant.

Wife, used but still in reasonable condition. Comes with earmuffs.

Large collection of Carlton Football Club memorabilia.

12" "Mule Dildo and Day Frock, only worn once.

Several hundred recyclable Visy Brown Paper bags, various sizes.

All enquiries entertained.

Fev has said yes according to his manager.

Bradshaw is allegedly "happy" to go pending a tour of Carltons facilities, (so that could be a problem-they're a shithole but should be better by next season.)

Unbelievably the "deal of the century" could all hinge on Rischitelli.
Rischitelli was not asked if he was interested in a move nor was he informed before the offer. His manager says he has knocked back two past offeres to move back to Victoria and is happy in Brisbane. He went on to add that Voss by making the offer to Carlton is his way of letting Rischitelli know he is not loved at Brisbane any more (nice of him to speak to the player about it in person.)

He will be meeting with Carlton today and probably have to make a decision on the way to the airport.

That's all pretty ****ed up there for the player.

He will more than likely agree as he is screwed if he does not.
The Brisbane faithful will forever hold it against him for losing Fev.
And as for Voss...how would he react to his trade falling over?

Then of course there is the huge groundswell of disgust currently sweeping through many Brisbane supporter groups.

Collingwood >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Carlton

Carlton and Collingwood have traded twice in 12 years.

McGuane to Carlton
Scotland to Carlton

Collingwoods only offer is pick 30 in a weak draft. If you wanted him badly enough you would have put up a decent offer. The Brisbane offer is average but it trumps pick 30.

What's the delay?

Sign them up already!

The offer of 30 was to say **** you after we were told you wouldn't deal with us, this is what we think your club and best player are worth.

Enjoy the 6 games Bradshaw plays next year.

He will kick more goals than any of your 'next big thing' forwards.

Yeah it's not quite sealed yet:

"We’ll see what happens. Not too sure," was Bradshaw’s blunt response to SEN when asked if he was looking forward to a move to the Blues.
Rischitelli was even less forthcoming. ‘‘Yeah, we’ll see what happens,’’ he told reporters.

Tomorrow is going to be a cracker of a day for trades. There's so much in the balance for so many clubs. *grabs popcorn*

I'd back Jack Anthony to kick more goals then Bradshaw next year.

Anthony will improve on his 50 goal output in what will effectively be his 3rd senior season, and Anthony will play more games then Bradshaw you would think.

Yes, If Bradshaw played every game he would probably kick more, but I'll back Jack to beat him over an entire season, plus we will be playing finals and you may not.:)

couldnt care less we will play finals and you wont

I think Anthony will be a pretty good forward in time but do you honestly think he's better than Bradshaw? Both players are deadly accurate, Anthony may be quicker now but he's got half the strength and contested marking nous of Bradshaw.
Bradshaw is serially under-rated, probably because he hasn't played in Melbourne. I'd back him to kick 70 with our midfield delivering to him next year.

I'd also put money on us making finals next year. Very unlikely we'll be worse than West Coast, Essendon or Sydney, who else is going to push for finals?

he should refuse to go to the scum of the earth and play his last year of his contract in Brissy before going to GC17 as an uncontracted player
