End of season.
Six wins is a pass, 7 or more with present injury run would be a decent result. 8 or more is really what we want to be feeling like making progress.
10 would be a big tick in terms of development.
3 or 4 wins a clear fail and would then question why only so few.
Personally I expect around 8 right at this moment. But right now, I just want one win this weekend just to get some momentum started and hopefully get back more and more players as May comes around so we got a really good 22 we can field each week.

IMO we judge on wins when the clubs No.1 focus is wins.

It's always an important stat if used in perspective.

The Win/Loss thing is just dumb. No other word for it.

What if we have another shocking run with injury. Then we need to know why, if we did, even with Russell, the likely culprit would be over training.

What is we lose 10 games by under 5 points? Gotta ask why again. Why can't we finish off games? No composure? Lacking fitness?
What if internally we are looking at development over wins?
How do you measure development. Eventually it is measured in wins... Eventually.
What if Russell said I need to manage this group for 12 months before getting results?
Has he?
What if Cripps gets injured?
**** off :(
So many variables and a lot we don't know. Just Dumb
You're a good person to ask, is there ever a hint of over training and mental exhaustion at the club? Essentially training too hard?

Considering we only won 2 games last year, this expectation of quadroupling that tally as the only true measure of growth is a little bit of setting the bar to impossible.

We were an uncompetitive rabble most of last year. Definitely have improved as far as that indicator goes.

Bolton hasn't lost the players, so giving him the flick because of external pressure may cost us a couple players as well.

He said wins and losses are not a major factor for the coach in 2018 but they will be in 2019... Which is what anybody with any sense of realism would say

I'm looking but can't find it. Only thing I can find is Judd saying we want to win every week but Bolton wasn't mentioned. How a comment in 2018 is relevant to now is strange?

I too am expecting about 8 to 10 wins by end 2019 campaign, once starting 22 are calibrated over next 4 to 6 weeks, it will be a gradual implementation.
After the Bye Rd 15 onwards we'll be more optimistic and positive, patience.

I'm thinking if things go okay anywhere between 5-8. Just so hard to put numbers on it yet. Too many variables and we will be inconsistent

Didn't the club undertake the review that saw the medical team overhauled, Russell brought in and The coaching staff getting Walls to mentor/do Neil Craig's role?

What's important is the game plan. Look at Gold Coast they have the least talented list in the AFL but have won two games why? Because the coach has kept the game plan simple. Perhaps this complicated game plan has not been understood by the team. Why not just tell the players to go out there any play on instinct and man on man? Showcase their talent. What the worst that could happen?

Who said we have a complicated game plan?

That last comment shows a real lack of understanding of modern football. It would be a disaster
