Brett Anderson's early draft big board

No I'm not but I have an intense dislike if people slagging anyone off without a reasonable basis . If you are a person that drops back to stars as some support it really speaks poorly of you .

I will repeat as it disc not seem to get through to you, I do not believe people have a basis for critiquing players based on watching a couple of games on TV, or just stats .

You won't find talent spotters, scouts basing decisions on this, they get to games as I do. They talk to people , they access Academy data .

Not once have I offered opinion on any kid outside of WA. I watch at least 4 WAFL games a weekend , know state coaches.

If by chance you are just driven by stats visit the WALF colts final and tell me on you stats based value judgements who was clearly the outstanding ( a term used by the WAFL official website ) player in the match despite being in losing team .

I live within walking distance of East Perth grounds so see more of them than anyone else and SPP is clearly the young club star but my allegiances lay with another club , West Perth.

Let's just wait until draft time and then see whether you or just about every club in the land have this right . I'm backing the club scouts and recruiters quite a few of them I have talked to . But what would they know, they are just paid and vastly experienced professionals in this game, I'll freely admit they know many more times about the game than I ever will.

Mate no one has slagged SPP off. They just have given an opinion of him. Even if you listen to Cal Twomey and Brett Anderson, they all say SPP's kicking is poor, and these are people who have watched him live and speak to recruiters.

As some one else commented here, you're taking things personally and responding emotionally on here. Makes people wonder if there is a connection.

M
Powell-Pepper kicked well at the colts GF yesterday.
Perhaps he has good and bad days?
must have been good day , 4 goals , 50 m set shot, 3 goals on the run from reasoanably acute angles ,games top tackle count, and second top touches despite playing most game up front in losing team .

Certainly wasn't a bad day , real good game to watch both teams had a real crack at it, very physical .

He will be behind English, SPS , expect him and Rotham mid 20s

Why not. Bowes is a gun and would be a duper pick up. GC will match any bid on him so they chew up their draft picks and when they do Essendon just draft who they were going to anyway.
A number of reasons. Essendon probably haven't put as much work into Bowes as they have everyone else, and so wouldn't be as willing to risk (as small as that risk might be) Gold Coast not matching when they aren't sure they want him at 1. I heard that last year Essendon did little to no research on the academy players and were therefore no chance of bidding on them. With first round picks, and pick 1 especially, they want a player they're excited about, and I don't think clubs bother getting excited about the top academy picks. Another reason is it's bad publicity - they want to be able to sell their pick 1 as the player they wanted most, not their second choice. It's just not worth attempting to game Gold Coast, it might blow up and even if it doesn't it looks bad.

Also I reckon they'll trade off pick 1.
