For having a bit to much grog in Germany this time, who wants to take a bet at where they are arrested next.

Last week it was in Greece, this week Germany, I'll put my coin on England or Spain.

Apparently the pair weren't attacked this time and were involved in a alcohol fuelled brawl.

This isnt good for the Demons, the Club is in the middle of attempting to sign the most treasured signature in the game and these two lads toss this up.

A slap in the face to the administration.

Does this harm Brock Macleans chances for the Captaincy and will Judd be turned off by this poor player behaviour?

Demons 'in second holiday brawl'
September 24, 2007 - 7:48PM

Melbourne AFL players Nathan Carroll and Brock McLean have reportedly been involved in a second fight inside a fortnight during a post-season holiday in Europe.

The Nine Network tonight reported McLean and Carroll were involved in a fight in Germany while attending Oktoberfest celebrations.

McLean, Carroll and teammate Jared Rivers were all involved in a fight at a nightclub on the Greek island of Ios earlier this month.

However, Melbourne could not confirm the latest incident, as a club spokeswoman said Demons officials were yet to speak to either McLean or Carroll.

"We're aware of the all the allegations," she said.

"But we have no other information yet.

"Until we have all the information we won't be making any comment."

McLean, Carroll and Rivers became involved in a fight with a group of Swedish tourists in Ios after Carroll was hit over the head with an object, possibly a bottle.

No charges were laid from that incident.

Melbourne chairman Paul Gardner said after the Greek incident he would be seeking a full explanation from the players, but said the club was unlikely to impose any sanctions.

McLean, 21, has played 61 games in four seasons with the Demons and has been touted as a future captain of the club.

Carroll, 26, has played 62 games in five seasons and Rivers, 22, has played 64 games in five seasons, but was sidelined for most of 2007 through injury.

Anyone wondering what this Dean Bailey character is made of?

Surely this is the best test to see how he handles ill-discipline at a football club.
They aren’t at the football club they are on a trip in the off season. I am sure MFC and possibly the coach will have a stern comment but they will probably do bugger all as they should. Can’t wait for AD to weigh in!

It would be Nathan Carrol's fault. You can get away with that shit mo and headband when everyone know's your an AFL player. Overseas he is just a weirdo ****wit with an extremely punchable head.

lol tempting to pay for membership just to use that as my signature.

Classic.

No, I have'nt.

It would still be his fault. He must've felt insecure surrounded by people of equal freakiness and cracked.

The fact this happened in Germany could also mean that there's a fair chance that Transit Police could of been involved. Those hard arses will march you to an ATM to pay a fine on the spot if you're caught without a ticket on a train.

The fact it mentioned Oktoberfest meant that there's a chance the players were going for the 100 stein club.... in one day. Not a good idea me thinks.

:thumbsdown:Would almost expect this rot from Carroll, but seriously thought Mclean had more sense. Aren't any of the older players on this so-called "rebels' trip"? Hope they get hung drawn and quartered by Bailey when they get back.Stoooopid.

They must be on the Russell Crowe tour. Next stop, China.

Remind me again the first time they were arrested?

"Club CEO Steve Harris said, "We have established that the players, and a male friend of one of the players, were involved in a scuffle at the weekend after a Dutch man had repeatedly confronted them. Police were nearby and took all four men away for questioning. The Dutch man admitted he had provoked the incident. No charges were laid, and the players were cleared and released."

I suggest some people edit their posts...

I'm not editing anything. Prove to me there were no Transit Police involved....:D
