Seriously, has the Brownlow lost so much credibility in a single count before?
Never seen such a lack of shame from the umpires

Good blokes? They’re always the biggest campaigners

At least those counts showed a genuine variancy of opinionPriddis and woewodin won it
As Cripps saidRealistically, neither Cripps nor Daicos should have scored anywhere near that high. Take ten votes off each of them and it starts to look a little more sensible.
Daicos scored votes in even more matches than Cripps did. Eighteen matches he scored votes! He's a bloody good player, but come on.
And his brother just got engaged first too!Lol that Nick Daicos breaks the record for Brownlow votes within a season and doesn't win, and also has 2 out of 3 goal of the year nominations and gets pipped for that as well.
Having said all that, these votes far better reflect the players and Cripps was right up there just behind Daicos at seasons end
Coaches' votes, R24: Pies star charges past rested Heeney to claim prize
The coaches' votes are in for the round 24 gameswww.afl.com.au

Do umpires have access to statistics after the game? This suggests they don’t, when they absolutely shouldI saw this posted on the main board. There is no question that the umpires got the two players mixed up.
Round 9 - Hawthorn vs Bulldogs
Similarly, N. Daicos getting votes in a 15 disposal game where he was subbed off as opposed to Josh who had 34 touches.
- Amon - 15 disposals, 0 coaches votes, 2 Brownlow votes
- Impey - 29 disposals, 9 coaches votes, 0 Brownlow votes

Conservatives going to conserve because..Not sure why people get upset with Brownlow results.
Its the most ridiculous premise. How in the world should umpires decide who is the best player on the ground when their primary focus is on umpiring.
Take it for what it is - a novelty award.
Yep. Also Libba and even Mitchell who is no better than Matt Crouch both dodgy.Priddis and woewodin won it
100% accurateHe’s gonna have more brownlows than legit handballs
When we talk about how biased the competition is, one of the biggest factors is that ALL the umpires live in Melbourne. They read the Melbourne papers, they listen to the Melbourne radios, they watch the Melbourne based footy shows.Seriously, has the Brownlow lost so much credibility in a single count before?

Those goal of the year nominations were pathetic. Bog average goals at best. The Higgins goal from outside the boundary was a LOT better.Lol that Nick Daicos breaks the record for Brownlow votes within a season and doesn't win, and also has 2 out of 3 goal of the year nominations and gets pipped for that as well.
Maybe they left it out because he was 3 metres OOB ??Those goal of the year nominations were pathetic. Bog average goals at best. The Higgins goal from outside the boundary was a LOT better.
Ok, they were good goals. Sure. But the best of the year? Surely not.Maybe they left it out because he was 3 metres OOB ??
Also they werent bog average goals, having the composure to run and bounce, then finish at full speed isnt that easy.
