If this club got the free ride in the press that Brad does we'd be on the front page every day.
It reads as being engineered to me.
Brad walked quietlyt and took the pay cut, and the club let's him depart in a scripted noble manner. I can live with that. You don't piss on a fallen man.
Robbo was on 5AA this avo saying Lethlean and Scott are very good mates.Lethlean played ressies at the hawks in 90s - where Brad was drafted initially.
Pretty sure Luke McCabe & lethlean are close mates, as are McCabe and Scott. Wouldn’t be a long bow to draw to say there is a connection between lethlean and Scott on some level

Yes you are. He isn’t on the first page of things to be considered. Mainly a reserve player at Melbourne so far in any case, for the same reasons he was at North.Am I crazy to only be thinking how insane we were to trade Preuss with all of this happening? 9 weeks into the season and the main players in the football department who wouldnt play him will likely be gone within the week
If this is true, then how can you expect the players to be up for the fight when the coach is willing to quit 8 rounds in.
Because if he goes then they are gone? Why did the board tell him to cool his jets???
Don't go near him.. The prick doesn't like us.. probably ever since 96.. we'd have to pay him overs to do something his heart isn't in... stay clearPaul Roos? I'd be conflicted tbh. I can't stand the smug prick, but there's no doubt that he can coach and he does carry an authority. He'd obviously be great at setting off-field standards that could get the best out of LMac and the like.
Rhyce Shaw named as the interim coach

Yeah, nah. Of course BS has to manage his career, like everyone. But to suggest that BS did not do his best for the club as well is pure bullshit.Good post AS - in the end cooler heads will prevail and Bard will be allowed to coach his last game.
But we can all see what the problem has been - Bard arrogantly running the show - accountable to no one.
The Board and the club (including supporters) can't be so naive next time into thinking that employees of the club are there ..for the benefit of North Melbourne...
This is a professional business and people are there to manage their own careers, to manage their brand and self promote. This is even more the case when ultimate success is lacking as it has been for North Melbourne under Bard.
Everything you say there is right and I agree with it all. I guess its just a symptom for me of all of the young players our football department never developed over the last 5 odd years.Yes you are. He isn’t on the first page of things to be considered. Mainly a reserve player at Melbourne so far in any case, for the same reasons he was at North.
I agree. I like Brad but the time is up and he knows it.It reads as being engineered to me.

I doubt he'll get another coaching gig. He'll pop up at the Saints. Last week news came out that Richo needed to win a final this year to trigger another year. Immaculate timing, eh.
Was he best man at Lethlean's wedding, or was it the other way around?
